[00:00:00] Speaker A: Good evening, and welcome to the very first episode of Animama, a city of mist podcast inspired by games like Persona and various other horror movies. I am Aubrey. I will be your keeper of the velvet room, and I will turn it over to my players to introduce themselves, tell you a little bit about their characters, and then we'll get into things. So we'll start at the top with you, Aki. [00:00:24] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Aki. I go by she her, and. And today I'll be playing Laurel. So by she her. And she is your standard closet. Engage in a history major with aspirations of being a ghost writer. Is that good? Should I add anything else? [00:00:42] Speaker A: No. I mean, that's. That's great. Go down the list with you, Dusty. [00:00:46] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Dusty. I go by. I use he him. I am a GM player from tabletop roulette, as well as I have my own podcast from Dusted Dice. I'm going to be playing Guillermo Delirosa, fashion student disaster. Queer aspirations to have their own fashion line. [00:01:04] Speaker D: Eventually die for him. [00:01:06] Speaker A: Ferris. [00:01:07] Speaker E: Hello. I am Ferris from Goblets and Gays Sister podcast. I don't know. I use she her pronouns playing tennis bolos, who also use the she her pronouns. She's a delayed year college student with. With the goals to just graduate college. [00:01:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:01:28] Speaker E: And let's just say more, but I forgot everything in my brain, so, I mean, that works. [00:01:33] Speaker A: It's a sentence or two, sort of. You know, there's a reason, you know, you're delayed. Why are you delayed? We'll answer these questions later. We'll move on to hello, there. [00:01:43] Speaker F: My name represents Angle Phoenix, and I'll be playing Carol Leblanc, a college student that really just wants to be left alone. [00:01:50] Speaker A: Guess what? [00:01:50] Speaker F: They're not gonna be left alone. Yes. [00:01:53] Speaker C: Not this time. [00:01:54] Speaker F: Not this time. [00:01:56] Speaker A: Okay. [00:01:56] Speaker D: But mood, though, like. [00:01:58] Speaker A: All right, let's round it out with you. [00:02:01] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Tic, the resident furry. I use any pronouns, and I'm going from Casper Gwost, a very friendly cyber security page that will do basically anything anyone asks them because they're kind of a pushover and very nice also. [00:02:14] Speaker F: I'm so sorry. My pronouns are he, him, and cares. Pronouns. I'm so sorry. [00:02:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I think I forget to say that, like, half the time, my pronouns are she. I will be playing all the characters with all sorts of different pronouns. It's going to get real confusing in here. [00:02:26] Speaker D: They were roommates. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Yep. [00:02:28] Speaker C: Oh, my God. They were. [00:02:30] Speaker A: So, yes. Let us get into things. So we open on. It's August it's late August. It is move in day at Blackwall University. Just a little bit of background. Blackwall is a very small liberal arts college sort of nestled in the suburbs of sea. It's relatively new in the scheme of things, only about been around for about 50 years or so. But you all applied, got accepted for whatever programs you're going to study, and today is the day that you move in. So we are going to start with Tanithe. We're gonna start with. And so you. Your letter tells you that you are assigned to the Pierce suites, which you didn't realize until you got here, are actually kind of upscale. They're relatively new, built within last five years or so. And it's a. There's one girls only dorm, there's one boys only, and then there's two co eds. You have been assigned to the girls only dormouse. This one is unlike others. It is more of a suite style living, where there's one bathroom shared by two rooms. And so your room is up on the second floor. It's in the middle of the hallway. And when you get there, the door is already open. And you watch as this woman is. This girl. She is bustling around the room. She has dark skin and sort of messy, messy hair that's sort of been tamed back into a sort of a bun just out of her face. You know, she's wearing shorts and a t shirt that says camp am on it. Yep. And as you stand in the door, she looks up and just goes, oh. Oh, you're my roommate. Oh, sorry. It's a bit of a mess. I'm trying to get all my stuff unpacked. [00:04:28] Speaker E: No worries. I don't have much. Take the floor, I guess. [00:04:34] Speaker A: Yes. Um, but it's nice to meet you. Um, my name is. My name is Marlene Tannis. Yeah, um, I tried to find you on Facebook and stuff, but I couldn't find you. Just weird thinking you've a very, very specific name. [00:04:48] Speaker E: Well, I, uh. [00:04:49] Speaker A: So, yeah. Um. Yeah, I guess that. I guess that makes sense. Still have Twitter, but, I mean, I should have checked there, but I have a couple more boxes in my car. Feel free to. I need to go grab them. Feel free to just. I haven't claimed a bed yet. Take whichever one you want. I'll take the other one. [00:05:08] Speaker E: I will. [00:05:09] Speaker A: And help yourself to some tea. I brewed a pot. Just sort of helps me calm down. [00:05:15] Speaker E: Got a nervous thing there at times. [00:05:18] Speaker A: Just when things are high stressed. Today and yesterday. [00:05:22] Speaker E: Gotcha. Well, uh, stay cool then. And I will. Throw my duffel bag on the better bed. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Yeah, there's. There's two there. You grab the one that's probably in the better placement in the room where the sun won't wake you up in the morning. Perfect. Yeah. Uh, so you settle on in, start unpacking your things, and we jump over to, uh. We're gonna jump over to Laurel. Yeah. So you. Your letter said you were signed to green hall. Also, if people want to find this, find these things on our map on our roll. 20. Pierce hall is number 81. Green hall is 18, and Green hall is. The other is one of the co ed dorms. But this one is, from what you can tell, is probably the nicer one, a little bit more modern. But this one is definitely bustling with people coming in and out. It seems like a lot of freshmen get put in this dorm. And your room is on the. [00:06:27] Speaker B: How many floors are in this building? [00:06:29] Speaker A: Five. [00:06:30] Speaker B: Oh, my. [00:06:30] Speaker A: It is a big building. There are four dorms in total on campus. The pier suites and the Jaeger, which is the all boys dorm. Those are both smaller ones. They're generally only got three floors. But Cheney, which is one of the co ed dorms, and Green hall, just the other one. They're both pretty massive. [00:06:53] Speaker B: Cool. So I'm assuming I have a key to. [00:06:56] Speaker A: Yeah. When you arrived, they took your photo for your student id and gave you a key to your dorm. Yeah. You've got whatever you decided to bring. Did anybody see you off? No. Uh, I don't know if you've said if you. Well, said outside of game. If you live in the Seattle area or you commuting. [00:07:14] Speaker B: Oh, no, no, no. I definitely moved in. I am outside somewhere. [00:07:20] Speaker A: America. Yeah. Somewhere. [00:07:24] Speaker B: Of your country. All I know is that I. Carly was filmed here. [00:07:31] Speaker F: Or, you know what they say. Live life, breathe in. [00:07:37] Speaker A: You go to your room, and the door, you go to unlock it. You notice the door already there is a bag sort of sitting outside. And as you go to open it, it's open from the inside. You come face to face a girl. She has sort of messy red hair that's sort of tied up right now and is probably actually probably about the same height you are. You are both very short people and is wearing, like, a shirt that is like, I heart nerds or something. [00:08:08] Speaker C: Yes. [00:08:09] Speaker F: Oh, yeah. Okay. [00:08:13] Speaker A: Yeah. And she goes, oh, sorry. I didn't realize you were here yet. I'm Claire. It's nice to meet you. [00:08:21] Speaker B: I'm looking for a light by the door. [00:08:25] Speaker A: Yeah, there's one that's, like, right to the left as you. [00:08:27] Speaker B: Okay. I flick it, and then I does the dorm look. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, they cleaned it before. You do see that? As you enter, Claire is just like, oh, that's where it was. She grabs the bag, pulls it in. She has what looks to be a suitcase and two travel ish. She doesn't seem to have a lot. [00:08:46] Speaker B: Cool. I don't have a lot. [00:08:48] Speaker A: She is halfway through unpacking. Her suit dressers will turn to you. So how do you. How do you like it so far? The campus, I mean. Pretty nice, isn't it? [00:09:00] Speaker B: Yeah, it's big. [00:09:02] Speaker A: I mean, I guess, in the scheme of things. [00:09:04] Speaker B: So how are the beds? How are the beds along? [00:09:06] Speaker A: Um, so, you know, think of this thing as one sort of. Most of the rooms are just a giant. Um, currently, there is a. A bed along the far wall, and the bedded along the wall that's on the left when you end. [00:09:18] Speaker B: I'm going to go to the bed. [00:09:19] Speaker A: Along the far, uh, no, you can take it. Have my stuff here. [00:09:23] Speaker B: Cool. And I put my stuff on the bed that I have. The, uh, the. The clear anime protagonist bed. [00:09:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:09:34] Speaker B: And I, um, do the unpacking of things. I don't think I. I mentioned that I took off my shoes, but I definitely took off my. And, uh, I will be silently judging her. [00:09:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. She's. She's taken off her, and it looked like she had a pair of flip lines. [00:09:46] Speaker B: We will get along. One other thing I don't think I have mentioned yet. I do wear gloves. [00:09:53] Speaker C: Okay. [00:09:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:54] Speaker A: I'm not. [00:09:54] Speaker B: Definitely not touching things all willy nilly. Well, not. They're not fancy. Just fucking. [00:10:00] Speaker F: We can't do this unless I bleach every single thing in this room. Including Claire. [00:10:08] Speaker B: Yes. And I definitely don't touch Claire or. [00:10:11] Speaker A: Things she hasn't, like, tried to shake your hand or touch you or anything. [00:10:16] Speaker B: Okay, good. Boundaries. [00:10:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:20] Speaker B: So, yeah, unless Claire needs me for any. [00:10:24] Speaker A: Yeah. She doesn't. See, she's. She's a little bit unsure of how to. The conversation, so she stays pretty quiet and lets you do your thing. She does her own thing at one point, when she's done packing, pulls out her phone and just while sitting on her bed and. [00:10:42] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Aubrey, this is your. This is your one. You only have. [00:10:45] Speaker A: Yes, I do. I know. Don't you think I've planned these things out now? [00:10:50] Speaker B: I'm so proud of you for planning these things out. This is your only one left. [00:10:54] Speaker A: This is a joke. [00:10:55] Speaker D: For context. [00:10:56] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. For context, I only allow Aubrey to have two redheads in with the only possibility of a third if someone, specifically, a PC, decides to dye their hair red. You don't control PCs, but you control NPC's. And you're only allowed to have two. [00:11:18] Speaker A: God, I have my two. [00:11:20] Speaker F: That is highly specific. [00:11:24] Speaker B: The first time we played in Aubrey's campaign, every f NPC had something to do with red. If their name wasn't based on the color, their hair. [00:11:35] Speaker A: Sure. [00:11:36] Speaker B: Washington. [00:11:36] Speaker A: Or. [00:11:40] Speaker D: Only distinction. [00:11:42] Speaker B: Besides, this is Scarlet, and that's. And that's ready redhead. Okay. And we're like, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. They got red hair, and we're like, really green eyes, too. Okay. You're like, I'm not hitting you with the green eye. Bullshit. I'll let you keep them. Okay. They don't have enough of them eyes. Okay, but the redheads, that's a choice. [00:12:08] Speaker D: Follow up question. What's your favorite color? [00:12:11] Speaker A: Not red, if you're wondering. [00:12:14] Speaker F: Aubrey. Second. Well, it's not much of a comment, more of a statement. I care about you deeply, but. Yikes. [00:12:22] Speaker E: You don't understand. [00:12:25] Speaker B: You do not understand, man. I played one hell of a hoe, and I've never seen or banged so many redheads in my entire life. [00:12:35] Speaker A: Twice. [00:12:36] Speaker B: Twice was a godhead. [00:12:40] Speaker E: Good lord. [00:12:41] Speaker B: Good lord. So, yeah, you only get two. [00:12:45] Speaker A: I plan them. I planned them accordingly. [00:12:47] Speaker B: I can't believe you gave me the one, too. [00:12:52] Speaker A: Don't you think there's a reason for that? [00:12:54] Speaker B: I will kill her. [00:13:00] Speaker A: So, yes, getting away from that thing that I may or may not leave in the podcast. So we are going to jump over to you. Oh, no. Hello. So, you've been assigned to Cheney, which is on the map. Number 57. Is it the shitty one? Yes, it is. The not as nice Cohen. It is the oldest dorm on campus. The, uh. You've heard that, uh, the AC really doesn't work that much. Like, it might, like, blow a little bit of cold air, but not that much. Uh, and the heat a little bit spotty during the winter, so keep lots of hoodies and blankets nearby. [00:13:40] Speaker D: That's fine. This is fine. [00:13:42] Speaker A: Yeah. And it's got the. The standard, like, college thing of one giant bathroom per floor. [00:13:47] Speaker D: Oh, so, like our collegeship. [00:13:49] Speaker A: Yeah, most colleges have that going up, so, yes, you have been assigned there, and you are on the third floor. [00:13:56] Speaker D: All right. I got my bags. I assume I go up to my room. I'm going to knock before I go in first because I want to be polite and don't want to walk in on any chaos. [00:14:11] Speaker A: You will notice that when you approach, there seems to be rather loud music coming. [00:14:16] Speaker D: Oh, no, Aubrey. I'm still going to knock and be like, hello? [00:14:24] Speaker A: You don't get an answer, I'm gonna open where? [00:14:27] Speaker D: I guess, then. [00:14:28] Speaker A: Yep. Take my head in. And as you open the door, you watch as a shirtless man turns around to face you. [00:14:39] Speaker F: And the audience goes, ooh. [00:14:43] Speaker A: And, you know, he's got messy hair, and, you know, probably a bit of, like, as much of a scruff as, like, an 18 year old can grow, which depends. Like, I've seen 18 year olds with full beards. I've seen 18 year olds who cannot grow any facial hair at all. So I will. We'll figure out what that looks like later. But, yes, he, you know, he's in pretty decent. You know, he at least maybe played a support, but he just goes, hey, you're that ghost guy, right? [00:15:13] Speaker D: Yeah. It's nice to meet you. My name is Casper, but you already knew that. What's your name again? [00:15:19] Speaker A: Luis. It's nice to meet you. [00:15:20] Speaker D: Nice to meet you, too. I'm going to extend my hand very politely. [00:15:23] Speaker A: Yeah. And he'll come over and shake your hand pretty big. And he's like, I think we're going to be best of friends. [00:15:28] Speaker D: Yeah, of course. Did any help unpacking your stuff or anything? Up? [00:15:33] Speaker A: I think I'm okay right now. He, like, looks down. He's like, oh, yeah, sorry, I spilled coffee on my shirt. Was grabbing another one when you walked in. Sorry. I'll give me just a second. And he goes over, pulls out a t shirt. He goes over, pulls on another shirt, and he's just like, yeah, sorry about that. So, yeah, didn't really get to. I tried finding you online, but who knows? I didn't really try that, honestly. I tried five minutes, couldn't find you, but, yeah. So you're gonna be my roommate for next year? [00:16:08] Speaker D: Yeah. What do you study? [00:16:11] Speaker A: Oh, I'm theater. I'm in theater. [00:16:12] Speaker D: I'll bring foot with a fucking theater. I'm gonna kill you, Castro. Just nine decks. That's very, very interesting. A lot of fun and everything. [00:16:21] Speaker A: Yeah, no, I'm super excited. I heard a bit about, like, what they were doing for what they were planning to do for, like, the fall play. Something that I feel like I could really stretch my acting. [00:16:30] Speaker D: Oh, what are they doing for the fall play? [00:16:33] Speaker A: They were gonna do, like, I think, class menagerie out of characters. [00:16:38] Speaker D: This something that's common knowledge, because I've never heard of that in my life. [00:16:41] Speaker A: It's a Tennessee Williams play. It's incredibly depressing. [00:16:44] Speaker D: Oh, that sounds like. [00:16:46] Speaker F: Of course it is. [00:16:50] Speaker D: That does certainly sound like a very big challenge, but I'm sure you'll be fine with it. And I'm just gonna start taking my bags in very, like, awkwardly as this guy's, like, talking to me. Kind of like, putting. [00:17:00] Speaker A: He's just gonna keep talking, mostly about himself. [00:17:04] Speaker D: That's fine, Castle. Continue to listen, say, like, nice things. You know, just. Yeah, kind of unpacking stuff for listening. [00:17:12] Speaker A: Yeah. And so it continues like that for a while, and we'll jump over to a different part of campus with Guillermo. [00:17:19] Speaker C: Hello? [00:17:20] Speaker A: Me? Yes. You have been assigned, uh, the Jaeger dorm. Uh, so the, uh, the men's only dormitory. Oh, yeah. Um, so this one is, like, Pierce. It's a little bit newer, but because of the fact that it's kind of an all boys dormitory, means it kind of gets tore the fuck up every year. So it's not as nice as Pierce, but nicer than Cheney or green. [00:17:50] Speaker C: This is for a dusting question. What number is it? [00:17:53] Speaker A: It is 82. [00:17:54] Speaker C: 82. [00:17:55] Speaker A: Yep. [00:17:56] Speaker F: So it's incredibly close. [00:17:57] Speaker A: Yeah, all of. For the most part, all of them are pretty close. [00:18:04] Speaker F: Trying to be a picture for, like, our audience. [00:18:06] Speaker A: Yeah. So, yeah, you. You know, you are in jaeger. Yours. Your apartment. But again, it's like. Like, Pierce sweet style. Your. So you only have to share a bathroom with one other set of boys. Oh, yeah. It's better than sharing it with an entire hall. [00:18:28] Speaker C: This is true. This is true. [00:18:29] Speaker A: Yep. And your dorm is on the outflow. [00:18:32] Speaker C: Okay, question. What's the pet policy for this dorm? [00:18:37] Speaker A: No pets. [00:18:38] Speaker C: Got you. Okay, so as I get to my room, I guess what is, like, door open? [00:18:44] Speaker A: The door is, like, cracked. It's not open. It's not closed. [00:18:48] Speaker C: Okay. Guillermo has, like, a backpack and, like, one of those, like, roller suitcases that are, like, way too big and has, like, floral shit all over it. He's gonna, like, knock on the door politely and go, like, uh, hello. Hello. [00:19:04] Speaker A: I just hear a voice just being like, come in. [00:19:07] Speaker C: Uh, and he's gonna open the door to the room, um, like, kind of awkwardly, like, trying to get the suitcase in. It's kind of like hitting the door edge because he's fumbling with it, but he finally gets in the room. Uh, yeah, very awkwardly. [00:19:22] Speaker A: And you see the guy. He has just sort of messy, wiry hair, sort of darker skin. He's wearing, like, a. Like, a white and black striped, like, sweater. And he's, like, tending to a couple plants, the sort of the windowsill friend. [00:19:46] Speaker C: And he's, Guillermo's going to kind of, like, awkward. He's like, um, hi, I'm Guillermo. I think we're roommates. This works. Yeah, I think we're roommates. [00:19:55] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's nice to actually, like, finally meet you. I'm Simon. [00:20:02] Speaker C: Hi, Simon. Yeah, hi. Nice to meet, nice to meet you. I like your plants. [00:20:08] Speaker A: Thank you. I thought the room needed a little bit of a flair, and it might help with just the fact that this is a very small, very, at times, suffocating box like room. [00:20:21] Speaker C: You know, that's, that's, that's super. Yeah, yeah, no, no, it's super valid. Um, uh, has, uh, has the beds been quote unquote reserved or taken or. [00:20:33] Speaker A: Uh, there's no suitcases or anything on either bed. Uh, it looks like Simon has a couple of ones that are on the table on the desk, but he hasn't looked. [00:20:46] Speaker C: And giddy was gonna like, do you prefer one over the other four beds? I mean, it doesn't really matter. [00:20:54] Speaker A: Yeah, he's just like, I don't know. I'll take the one that the sun shines on if you don't want that one. I kind of like waking up when the sun is up. [00:21:02] Speaker C: Sure. Cool, cool. Yeah, that, I'm, yeah, I'm cool with that. And Guillermo's gonna, like, go to the other bed and, like, lift a suitcase on top of it and very gingerly start taking off his backpack, and he's gonna look at Simon and be like, so this is a personal question. Do you have any allergies? [00:21:25] Speaker A: Peanuts. [00:21:26] Speaker C: Cool, cool, cool, cool. So, second question. Are you a narc? [00:21:32] Speaker A: No. What? [00:21:34] Speaker C: Okay, so, so, okay, so that's cool. That's great. Glad. And Guillermo's gonna very slowly unzip his backpack, and then, like, this, like, orange and brown spotted cat's gonna come out, and he's gonna pick him up, and, like, this is marzipan. They're gonna hang out with marzipan. [00:21:58] Speaker D: I would die for marzipan, too. [00:22:01] Speaker A: Yeah. And, like, Simon's eyes get, like, super wide and just goes, you brought a cat? [00:22:08] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:22:08] Speaker A: That's cool. [00:22:10] Speaker C: Cool, cool, cool, cool. [00:22:12] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:22:12] Speaker C: Um, yeah, they're, they're, they're great. [00:22:15] Speaker A: Uh, don't worry. I won't, I won't say anything. [00:22:18] Speaker C: Cool, cool. Yeah. And, um, he's just gonna put marzipan on the bed. [00:22:22] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, we gotta stick it to the man, bring cats in. I'm support all of this. [00:22:28] Speaker C: Great, cool, cool. Um, well, nice to meet you. Marzipan will probably like to meet you, too. [00:22:36] Speaker A: Yeah, he's just like, yeah. Goes over and, like, lets the cat, like. [00:22:41] Speaker C: And then, like, while that happens, Guillermo's gonna open his large suitcase, which, as soon as he unzips it, just kind of, like, opens up really fast. And just nothing but just all clothes. [00:22:53] Speaker A: Luckily, it's not a walk in closet, but this, the sweet style ones do have a slightly bigger clock, like your normal co ed dorm one. [00:23:01] Speaker C: Cool. I'm just what some people call organ. [00:23:05] Speaker A: What is that? What is organic? We'll jump to the last person we will jump to. [00:23:13] Speaker F: You care, Aubrey. Did I not. I got the names wrong, but did I not call my freaking roommate? [00:23:20] Speaker A: You did. Yeah. No, I didn't want say anything at the time. I was like, yeah, no, you're completely right. Uh, you are also in, uh, Cheney. You're in, uh, 57. [00:23:32] Speaker F: I love that. [00:23:32] Speaker A: Uh, you are. You are in the, uh, second floor. [00:23:37] Speaker F: I kind of have this feeling that care is already there waiting for his roommate. [00:23:41] Speaker A: You are definitely there first. You were there before your roommate. Um, you know, you've. You've probably, like, unpacked most of your stuff and claimed your bed by this point. Um, and it's a. It's probably, like. Whereas most of all of this stuff probably happens, like, mid morning, maybe late morning. This is, like, two in the afternoon, several hours later, when, you know, you hear the key in the lock and the door opens, and this sort of very tired looking guy with incredibly, like, messy bed head and just sort of wearing a. What is a, uh, just a black hoodie. And she walks in and she goes, oh, um, hi, I'm Stefan. Nice to meet you. [00:24:26] Speaker F: Care. [00:24:27] Speaker A: Cool. [00:24:28] Speaker F: Exhausted. [00:24:29] Speaker A: I have been on a plane for a long morning. Uh, so I've got everything I have. Uh, so you already chose a bed. That's okay. I'll take the other one. Um, I'm gonna unpack my stuff, and then I'm probably going. Cause they did. They did mention that there's that thing, that student mixer, slash, like, get to know people who sleep through. Okay, cool. Thanks. Yeah. Or wake me up. It doesn't matter. And, you know, he starts to unpack his things. Does anyone have anything they would like to do before we move later into the day? [00:25:09] Speaker D: A little bit? [00:25:10] Speaker A: Yeah. If there's something particular you want to do, the next big thing we're going to do is the student mixer. Slash, like, freshman orientation. [00:25:17] Speaker F: I think care is going to be. No. Yeah. Three numbers. [00:25:21] Speaker A: Yeah, you do that. [00:25:23] Speaker B: At some point, I would like. While Laurel is probably her little bookshelf. Not by, like, oh, these are all by the same author or anything. No, we do this by color and size because what? Functional. And she'll just. Without looking to Claire at all, just pick. What do you study? [00:25:45] Speaker A: Claire is like. She looks up from her phone and she goes, think I'm gonna be a comp sci major. I haven't made this. What about you? [00:25:54] Speaker B: Yeah, one other thing. Don't touch my. If you do by, let me know. [00:26:04] Speaker A: Okay. [00:26:04] Speaker B: It's not because I think you're dirty. I just. Oh, that came out exactly how I wanted it, actually. [00:26:09] Speaker A: Yes, it did. Um, yeah, I will endeavor not to touch your thing. You know, we will do that. [00:26:16] Speaker B: I go back to organizing my books. [00:26:20] Speaker A: Any other roommate interactions that you desperately want to have? [00:26:24] Speaker F: I think Kara's gonna let Stefan sleep in the. Sorry. [00:26:27] Speaker D: No, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead. [00:26:28] Speaker F: Uh, I think Kara's gonna let Stefan sleep and sort of, like, he's wearing this sort of, like. I assume it's sort of colder, like, since the fall. [00:26:38] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:26:39] Speaker F: So he's wearing, like, the. Sort of like, oh, please. [00:26:41] Speaker A: No. I mean, it's. Yes, it's like, it's the end of August, so, yeah, definitely. As the day goes later, especially in a place like Seattle where it rains a lot, you're gonna feel like. Want to have sort of jacket on. [00:26:52] Speaker F: I think Kara has, like, this cardigan on that kind of reaches and just. Everything is black. His hair is. He's sort of, like, looking around, like, sort of recognizing faces to room numbers and, you know, just, like, not speaking. [00:27:05] Speaker A: It, but, like, of course, very important distinction. [00:27:08] Speaker F: Okay, so blondie over there, that looks like he could be a surfer, is in that room. Or asshat McGee with the. With the soul. The soul patches in that room, and he's just sort of, like, cataloging to himself. I think you do that. [00:27:27] Speaker A: And it's. The campus is very, very busy. It is move in day trying to move in. People are just constant stream of freshmen. [00:27:36] Speaker E: I want to. I don't roommates, but I just wanted a text off to the family group chat. Yeah, just, like, a picture of the bed once it's made. And the duffel bag is probably, like, nothing exactly unpacked, but it's not in the picture, so it looks like she's unpacked. Um, just shooting the text made in. Everything's going good. Miss them. [00:28:03] Speaker A: Uh, you get a text back from your mom saying, I'm so, uh, Guillermo, Casper, want to do anything specific before we move it on towards the freshman orientation? [00:28:15] Speaker D: Yes. So, uh, I. There's two things I wanted. One of them not sure can do yet. But, uh, the first thing I would like to do is I feel like this guy that I'm with. What's the condition of the, uh, the, you know, the rooms right now? [00:28:29] Speaker A: Like, is it literally moving day? [00:28:32] Speaker D: Listen, you'd be surprised how some people make them. [00:28:36] Speaker C: He. [00:28:37] Speaker A: He seems to. He's. At least at the moment, all of his clothes are away or, uh. [00:28:43] Speaker D: Okay. [00:28:44] Speaker A: He didn't seem to bring much more than closed computer. A couple of. [00:28:48] Speaker D: Okay. So I guess I'm just gonna do the typical, like, you know, chatter, tidy stuff up. The second thing, which I'm not sure if I can do this yet, is like, on my sheet kind of on the things. I think I have a job gear. Should I, like, check in with them? [00:29:02] Speaker A: That's gonna be later in the weekend. Currently today. You will get an email later in the weekend with the actual, like, hi. [00:29:11] Speaker D: Hello. [00:29:12] Speaker A: Hi. Hello. Okay. [00:29:14] Speaker D: What my audio went was. That's gonna be. [00:29:22] Speaker A: So. Yes, that is going to be later in the weekend. You will get an email about specifically when. So you don't have to go by because there's not going to be anybody there at the it offices today. [00:29:33] Speaker D: Okay. So, like, if my roommate needs anything, me, I'll know. I'll offer that. [00:29:38] Speaker A: If he needs anything, I, you know, he's just like, not unless you know somebody who's willing to buy beer. [00:29:45] Speaker D: Wait, this is in the USA, right? [00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah, it's 21 anyway. Okay, right. [00:29:49] Speaker D: It's 21 in the US. [00:29:52] Speaker C: Wait, is it 21 in Canada? [00:29:54] Speaker B: No, no, it's 18. Yeah, but like, if you're like Quebecois, then it's in 17. [00:30:03] Speaker D: Yeah, I was like, can't you buy it for a second? [00:30:09] Speaker B: I was about to say. I was about to say. [00:30:14] Speaker D: I can see if I can anything about that right now. [00:30:17] Speaker A: I mean, if you know someone who can make fake ids. [00:30:18] Speaker D: Do I know someone that can make fake ids off it? [00:30:21] Speaker F: I'm sure you'll find someone at the freshman orientation. [00:30:25] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. Depends. How handy are you with here, Casper? [00:30:31] Speaker D: Oh, no, you're right. I'm really good. [00:30:35] Speaker A: Uh, I never like if you know, like. Or do you. Do you know how to make a fake id? [00:30:41] Speaker D: I have done it before. [00:30:43] Speaker A: I mean, if. If you could do it, do it well, I'm sure we could set up, like, we could like, start a business of making fake ids for people, charging them like 100, 5200 bucks. Think of all that easy money. [00:31:00] Speaker D: I'll see what I can do, uh, later tonight. I'll do my best. [00:31:05] Speaker A: He's like, yeah, no, I believe it. You both. [00:31:09] Speaker D: I'm gonna give a nervous thumbs up. Like, oh, my God, I can't believe I'm doing crimes on day one. But I really don't want to close problems so often. [00:31:16] Speaker A: Right? [00:31:16] Speaker D: I guess. Oh, God. I guess I have something to do tonight. I'm good now. [00:31:23] Speaker B: Treatment of Casper begins. [00:31:27] Speaker D: It's a crime. [00:31:29] Speaker E: Casper, you created a character that was. [00:31:32] Speaker A: Like, I have too much of a pushover to say no to anything. And I just went, great. [00:31:37] Speaker D: I knew you would, and I'm really glad you did because now I can do crimes. But, uh, all right, that's all that I'll be doing. [00:31:44] Speaker F: I think I also guessed your roommate aki also guessed. [00:31:48] Speaker D: Apparently I was the only one that didn't. [00:31:53] Speaker A: Ted Ferris knew going in. [00:31:55] Speaker E: I did. I did. [00:31:57] Speaker A: Cause I still. [00:31:58] Speaker E: I mean, there was a chance you didn't give me Marlene, but I felt like I was definitely getting Marlene. [00:32:03] Speaker A: Say yes. Say yes. You all spend the day getting ready, just packing up or unpacking because you're not. You're arriving, not leaving. Woohoo. So, yes, it is sort of getting later in the afternoon, probably about four. And you all have the email saying to come for the student orientation mixer. That is going to be a building ten on our map. Uh, so you're about five ish. And when you all arrive, things are already. [00:32:36] Speaker F: I wake up. [00:32:38] Speaker A: Yeah. Uh, and he. He, like, sort of pulls out. He like, he, like, he doesn't get anything. I was gonna say, he pours cup coffee. He doesn't have that set up. [00:32:49] Speaker F: So I think care got. [00:32:52] Speaker A: Okay, then. Yeah, he will take anyway his coffee and he'll just. Oh, yeah. You know, he does the thing where he runs his hands through his hair a few times. It doesn't make it look any less frazzled, but, you know, he feels like it does. And, you know, you two and everybody else, you start to walk towards the student center where this is being. And when you arrive, there is a dj already, like, starting to play music. You see boxes of pizza and bowls of punch. [00:33:24] Speaker F: I feel as if Stefan and Kara just share. Look. [00:33:27] Speaker A: Yeah, this is an event, Cynthia. [00:33:33] Speaker F: Yeah, just the quiet. Oh, no, no. [00:33:36] Speaker D: I'm scrolling to how to pronounce Dusty's character's name again real quick. It's in the chat. Guillermo, uh, can I find you? My homie, my childhood friend? [00:33:47] Speaker A: Yeah, I would say, like, it's a. I would. Is it too much to say that Guillermo is not. Is not a hard person to spot. [00:33:55] Speaker C: Probably not like, Guillermo. One has, like, bright pink hair and is definitely, like, after they unpacked everything, they definitely changed from what they were wearing earlier in the day. They have, like, a floral bomber jacket, floral pants. You see there's a theme, and. Yeah. And they have a very, like, bright, like, mint green backpack that they always have on them. [00:34:23] Speaker F: Oh, please tell me that the florals are at least mint. Or are they a bright pink? [00:34:28] Speaker C: The. Sorry, the what? Is at least mint? [00:34:31] Speaker F: Please tell me the florals are also mint. [00:34:33] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah, of course. Oh, yes. The backpack he always has with him, because that's where Mars a pan is. And so, yeah, that game will be. [00:34:43] Speaker A: Brought your cat. [00:34:44] Speaker C: Yes. [00:34:44] Speaker A: Okay, cool. [00:34:48] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna. I'm gonna hunt Guillermo. I don't think. I don't think my roommate wants to hang out with me. So, like, I'm gonna just. So I'm gonna find. I'm gonna find you. I'm gonna find my friend. [00:35:01] Speaker F: I should also doesn't have any wunder, but in any other case, Kara will just. [00:35:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:08] Speaker D: Melts into the shadows. [00:35:11] Speaker A: You do. You. You. You see Guillermo, like, across, like, you're at a p. You're at, like, one of the tables grabbing some pizza or something. [00:35:20] Speaker C: And Guillermo is kind of just, like, awkwardly looking around, but definitely just, like, on his phone, actually probably texting Casper. Like, where are you? [00:35:28] Speaker D: Do I get this text while I'm in line of sight of Jeremy? [00:35:31] Speaker A: Yes. [00:35:32] Speaker D: I'm just gonna text back, look up. [00:35:34] Speaker C: Smiley face, and then, like, we confirmed that Casper is, like, tall. [00:35:38] Speaker D: Casper's, like, six foot three. Yeah, Casper's tall and also wearing, like, the roses, like, dark jacket with, like, some red rose patterns on it that you gave them. [00:35:48] Speaker B: So, yeah, yeah. [00:35:51] Speaker F: What do I feel like in any other moment? It's just like, Guillermo's texting. Where are you, dummy? And Caster is just like. [00:36:00] Speaker D: Hi, where are you? [00:36:03] Speaker A: I miss you. [00:36:06] Speaker F: I don't know where you are. [00:36:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:10] Speaker C: Game was, like, would look up and then, like, quickly start making their way over there and definitely is moving through people, trying to make as little interaction as possible. And you could tell by the way he's walking. He's very good at it. Good at avoiding people. Gets there. Just like Casper. Uh, where. Where I. This is too many people. I am not a fan of this. [00:36:37] Speaker D: Yeah, that. That checks out. Uh, you need a hug. [00:36:42] Speaker C: Yeah. And then, uh, I came up with hug, and, like, gamer was, like, five six, I think. So definitely. Like, so definitely. I'm just like, uh, where, where, where are you staying? Where are you staying? [00:36:56] Speaker D: Uh, I'm in. I'm gonna lower my voice as well. I'm in the. I'm in the. Not very good. The cooper doesn't have, like, working acing. But it's okay, it's fine. I can make it work, you know? [00:37:07] Speaker C: Oh. [00:37:11] Speaker D: My God. It could be worse. [00:37:13] Speaker C: Okay, I think that's actually fairly close. So that's good. We could probably just like, chill. At least my roommate's not a narc. That's pretty good. [00:37:20] Speaker D: Um, you brought Marzipan, right? [00:37:23] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I got Marzipan. And I got their leash too. You know, in case of. [00:37:26] Speaker D: How are you going to welcome without being seen? [00:37:28] Speaker C: I don't know. [00:37:30] Speaker D: It's okay. I can help you think of something. We can. We can plan this together. [00:37:34] Speaker A: Uh, I just imagine you're really trying to have this hush conversation. You were in the middle of a party with very loud dj music. [00:37:41] Speaker D: That's fine. That's how most parties. [00:37:45] Speaker F: What's being played? [00:37:46] Speaker A: Please. What is being played? Let me find that specific. [00:37:50] Speaker D: Oh, no, please say it has taste of. [00:37:55] Speaker F: But let me tell you about taste. All of our tastes probably differ. And all of our characters tastes probably differ. [00:38:01] Speaker A: Yeah, but there is, there is music. [00:38:04] Speaker D: That no matter what, you can agree, no matter who you are, I'm not. [00:38:09] Speaker F: Going to make the obvious country. [00:38:12] Speaker A: It is like just your, it's your. It's pretty popular, like techno music. It's probably at this moment playing. Um, I was just about to say. [00:38:26] Speaker F: To her, sandstorm. [00:38:29] Speaker A: Let'S just say it's doing that. [00:38:31] Speaker F: Oh, no, we're having this. [00:38:35] Speaker C: Same hat. We're having this fucking conversation of fucking. I would say, um, just like, like, like attempting to talk and not, not his head and failing really badly. Just like, like, yeah, we need to, like, nothing. I said we need to walk Marsupam, leave here. I don't know. I don't. There's. Why the fuck are you here again? [00:39:01] Speaker D: Um, email said it's memory, but I can certainly sneak out with you if you want to. [00:39:05] Speaker C: Uh, I mean, that's probably just like, wait ten minutes. The music's like, still bombing his head. The music's like, not that good. [00:39:11] Speaker D: Yeah, it could be worse, but you're correct, it's not the best. Do I have, like, phones or anything to, like, kind of help muffle out the noise or like, is that something. Cause I personally like out of character. I carry headphones wherever I go. I'm not sure if this is something. [00:39:28] Speaker A: That everyone does I mean, if you wanna say that, you know, your character has headphones. Sure. Yeah. [00:39:36] Speaker D: I feel like they'd have earbuds. Like, you know. You know, the earbuds that you put in your ears that are, like, sound canceling that everyone? [00:39:41] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:39:41] Speaker D: Yeah. I'd say that that's. That's common enough that I'd have it. Yeah. But then. Then Jeremy would probably have his own. But I'm gonna offer anyways. It's okay. [00:39:48] Speaker C: Uh, yeah, I. It's good. Um, you know, I probably still want to hear at least a little. Let's just chill for a bit. [00:39:55] Speaker F: And then we're head at by basement. Jack starts playing. [00:40:00] Speaker C: Oh, my fucking God. [00:40:02] Speaker D: I mean, at least there's free pizza and free pump. [00:40:09] Speaker F: I'm like, oh, no. [00:40:13] Speaker C: Is from South LA. So. [00:40:19] Speaker D: How'S your roommate? [00:40:21] Speaker C: You know, like I said, he's not a narc. That's good. He likes plants, which is also pretty good, but kind of like he wants to wake up with the sun, you know? I like plants, too. Okay, that's a lot. But they like marzipan, so, you know, they have. They have a pluses. [00:40:36] Speaker D: Marzipan is very likable. Yeah. Hello, Marzipan. You have to invite me over at some point to give Marzipan a little hello. [00:40:43] Speaker C: Yes. Yeah. Um. I don't know how dorms. I'm saying this in character as well. Probably soon. I don't know. [00:40:50] Speaker D: I hope it's allowed. We'll figure it out. We'll figure something out. It'll be fine. [00:40:55] Speaker C: We got this. [00:40:56] Speaker D: We definitely got this. We take a bite out of the pizza. [00:41:00] Speaker A: It's pretty good pizza. Um, it's like, from a local place called, like, fox didn't pizza. [00:41:07] Speaker D: Well, I'm gonna. I'm gonna stay with my homie Guillermo, because he's dying and I am a supportive friend. [00:41:14] Speaker A: What is everyone else doing as they arrive at this? [00:41:18] Speaker F: I think Stefan's reaction and sort of planning a court. If he finds a group of people to talk to, like, here, we'll just like. And. But if he's sort of like, ah, people. Care will be there for him. Mostly care is just sort of watching everyone else, not really talking to anyone but Stefan. Like, if someone's like, oh, hi, I'm so and so, care will introduce himself. But frankly, care is just like, I don't want to be here. I've never wanted to be here, and I've never wanted to hear sandstorm and where's your head at last? [00:41:50] Speaker A: What about you? [00:41:53] Speaker E: Well, Tanith went. Yeah, I think she's just kind of, um, got, like, I don't know, a root beer because it's an official campus event. Um, and is, like, not. Not wallflowering, but, like, off to the side, just, like, watching all of the dudes very closely, um, and making sure they're behaving. Um, it's. [00:42:18] Speaker A: It's early enough in the night that everybody seems to be behaving so far. [00:42:22] Speaker E: Okay. Yeah. Then, I mean, other than that, she's just sitting there in her. Her leather jacket and, like, combat boots, looking very intimidating, but not unapproachable, just not like she's. She's not looking to conversation right now. So you can try, but we'll see how that goes. [00:42:41] Speaker A: And at some point during this, you go to, I don't know, just get to go to a bathroom. Just get out of there for a minute. Wash your face, you know, be in a room that's not filled with really bad techno music for a little bit. And so you are washing your face, and you look up into the mirror, and you don't see yourself for a moment. It's like a blink of your eyes, and then it's gone. There was. What's that? Snakes. You're brave. You're not really sure what's going on, but for a moment, your reflection was not you. [00:43:19] Speaker E: Interesting. Kind of just, um, reapply my really dark lipstick, and then, um, draw a little snake on the mirror. [00:43:30] Speaker A: And that's it. Laurel, what are you doing? [00:43:35] Speaker B: Firstly, before going, Laurel's going to look at Claire. Yeah. [00:43:44] Speaker A: I mean, not really. There was kind of, like, a party when I came here for, like, to do the whole, let's check out the campus and let's stay with, you know, someone for, like, a weekend, get to have sort of college experience. But, no, I haven't really been to, like, a school sanctioned party. [00:44:04] Speaker B: It's school sanction, so I guess it can't be horrible. I don't know. [00:44:10] Speaker A: Yeah. And I mean, her. There's free food. [00:44:14] Speaker B: Okay. [00:44:15] Speaker A: And the whole. It's managed. They're apparently gonna have, like, announcements. [00:44:21] Speaker B: Laurel really doesn't want to go. [00:44:23] Speaker A: Um, I mean, by me, I don't know anybody here. [00:44:28] Speaker B: So before Laurel goes, it's a lot of pacing, of hyping herself up to go. But it's not like, I can do this. I can do this. I can do this. It's literally just pacing back and forth, lifting things and then putting them back exactly where she found them and then going back. And before they leave, it's flip the light switch. On and off twice. And then. And then. [00:44:52] Speaker A: So, yeah, you do that. And you. As you arrive, Durud Sandstorm is blaring over to me. [00:45:02] Speaker B: And Laurel is so thoroughly disappointed. Can I use my power tag now? [00:45:08] Speaker A: I don't know. What do you want to roll? [00:45:10] Speaker B: I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But all I know is that shit done. I already got it. Laura's just gonna look at Claire like, you lied to me, but, like, she did it. [00:45:26] Speaker A: Claire looks equally as surprised as you. It's. It's like, I imagine if this was a tv show, there would be a smash cut to both of you. Like, okay, yeah, it can't be that bad. Smash cut. Darude. Sandstorm. [00:45:38] Speaker C: Like, sandstorm in the distance. [00:45:40] Speaker F: Oh, don't worry. It's not gonna be that many people. No one's gonna show up on the first day, so, yeah, it shouldn't be too bad. Smash cut. I hate. You've known me for, like, three minutes. [00:45:51] Speaker B: Laurel just looks for the food. [00:45:54] Speaker A: Yep, there's just boxes of pizza. [00:45:57] Speaker B: And then she looks at the food and just. And gets some pizza carefully. You know, you don't want to dirty the gloves. [00:46:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:07] Speaker B: For eating pizza with gloves, I have. I'm getting, like. Like, what I'm assuming I'm hoping for is, like, there's two papers, so napkins like that? Yeah. So, like, it'll be like, pick up the pizza with a napkin, put it on top of a napkin, and then hold the pizza by the crust with a napkin as I kind of like myself. [00:46:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:28] Speaker C: Ideas? Me? [00:46:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:30] Speaker B: We're not dripping this shit down like a fucking ninja turtle. Okay? And being as nice and clean in this hedonistic setting as possible, you did. [00:46:43] Speaker F: Strike me as a Raphael. I am not Raphael, Kat, that you got so mad. [00:46:55] Speaker B: I am angry. I'm allowed to be angry, but if anything. If anything, I am a Leonardo. Why? Because I am a leader. [00:47:06] Speaker A: I thought you were going to say I'm a Leonardo. Because I'm Laurel. [00:47:14] Speaker B: Me, as a person. I am Leonardo, okay? I, the turtle. I, Raphael is my favorite turtle, but I am not that fucking himbo. [00:47:27] Speaker A: Okay? That stupid. But yes, as you are eating, enjoying this actually pretty good pizza, you, for a moment, get that, you know that feeling like, where you. It almost feels like somebody is tracing their fingers over your shoulders, but it feels almost like a shiver at the same time. Yeah, almost. Yeah, it sort of like a cold feeling that passes over your shoulders and. [00:47:57] Speaker F: Then feeling where, like, someone's fingers are, like, right next to your shoulder. And you feel, like, the aura of the other person, but they're not touching you. Yikes. [00:48:06] Speaker A: Yeah. And you, for a moment in your. [00:48:08] Speaker B: Ear, just be like, oh, I look, I turn. [00:48:11] Speaker A: There's nothing close. [00:48:12] Speaker B: That's way too close. [00:48:13] Speaker A: Claire isn't even anywhere near you. Claire is, like, off getting p, there's, like, nobody near you. [00:48:19] Speaker B: I take one more bite of this pizza before I go throw it out. [00:48:21] Speaker A: Into the bathroom, and it'll be a. [00:48:25] Speaker D: It'Ll be a big bite. [00:48:26] Speaker B: But, like, I'm throwing this shit out, and we're going to the bathroom. I need to clean. [00:48:30] Speaker A: So, casper, you are, you know, you're hanging around Guillermo, you know, eating pizza. The song has changed from where's your head at? To every time we touch. [00:48:43] Speaker F: All the roller rink jam. [00:48:46] Speaker A: Yes. Okay. [00:48:48] Speaker C: I love every time we touch. It's fucking a banger right there. [00:48:51] Speaker F: It is a boss. [00:48:52] Speaker D: It is a banger. [00:48:53] Speaker A: Yeah. I'm just like, I have to include one decent song in here somewhere. [00:48:57] Speaker E: DJ isn't great, but they're learning. [00:49:00] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:01] Speaker D: You can't go wrong with that song. [00:49:02] Speaker A: Yep. Uh, so, yeah, you it is. You're doing that, and suddenly you, you know, as you're standing there and then someone sort of shoulder checks you. And you may, you keep your balance, but you move forward and you watch as somebody in a sort of a dark hooded sweatshirt just moves past you. And for one point, they look over their shoulder at you. Um, and then there's this. It's not a face. It is sort of a mask with illuminated eyes and a mouth. Uh, and then you blink and they're gone. [00:49:39] Speaker D: Did you see that? [00:49:40] Speaker C: Guillermo turns around like, like pulling, like, eating a slice of pizza and, like, pulling the biggest cheese strand away. Huh? [00:49:49] Speaker F: Nothing. [00:49:49] Speaker D: Never mind. Nevermind. A very impressive cheat, as you say. [00:49:55] Speaker C: That it breaks and just kind of like, he's just like. [00:49:59] Speaker D: It was very impressive. I'm very, very proud of you. [00:50:04] Speaker C: And he just, like, starts eating his thing. [00:50:06] Speaker A: And, you know, as this is going, Guillermo like, you, you get a whiff of, is that honeysuckle? [00:50:14] Speaker C: He kind of, like, looks around like, like very confused because, like, in a place like this with pizza like this and music like this, that's not smokey. [00:50:23] Speaker A: Yeah, there's, like, honeysuckle and sort of fresh dirt. You do look down at the floor at one point, and then there's what looks to be like a pair of bare feet. Well, they're not there anymore, but bare feet imprints. Left it with dirt standing next to you. [00:50:43] Speaker C: Huh? Casper? Not Casper. Guillermo is gonna like, look down that. Look back at the pizza, look down on the floor, and just kind of like this. This place is. [00:50:54] Speaker D: What's, what's, what's. What's wrong? [00:50:56] Speaker C: No. [00:50:57] Speaker D: Okay, we can certainly leave. Oh, we. Have the announcements opened yet that are important? [00:51:01] Speaker A: Not yet. [00:51:02] Speaker D: Uh, it's. It's okay. Um, I can. I can get the catch up from someone else. I can take you back to your, um, place and come back here and again. Yeah, it'll be fine. That's the perfect plan. Uh, yeah, I can take you back here, mom. We can head out. [00:51:15] Speaker C: Yeah. I think, like, as they're like, Garen will definitely start walking away with them and definitely throw them. [00:51:20] Speaker A: Yeah. You do. You do know that there are people by the doors that are like, kind of like, you gotta stay until the announcements are done. [00:51:30] Speaker D: Until then, can I talk to the guys at the door? [00:51:34] Speaker A: Like, am I gonna do what? [00:51:39] Speaker D: I just want to say, like, my friend is very, very well. I think we'd be best if they got the spark notes later on and I take them back to the. I don't get to have someone sing very well. It's okay if it's something they're like. [00:51:50] Speaker A: The announcements will start in five minutes. They're not going to take very long. Then you can leave. [00:51:54] Speaker D: Okay. [00:51:55] Speaker A: Um. [00:51:55] Speaker C: Okay. [00:51:56] Speaker D: A cup of water or anything. [00:51:59] Speaker A: There's water. There's all. [00:52:00] Speaker C: Guillermo's just like, like, uh, not really like, outwardly saying anything. He's just gonna like, sigh. Like, not like, huge. We're just like, I guess let's just buy water table. [00:52:11] Speaker D: I guess let's go where it's quiet. Yeah. We can stay with her back. [00:52:17] Speaker F: I don't know if Stefan where, like, either falling asleep or trying to struggle through a conversation, but it looks like. [00:52:24] Speaker A: Stefan may have met, like, one of the other people in his major. And they're sort of just like. They're kind of having a same hat conversation. [00:52:33] Speaker F: Okay, good. [00:52:35] Speaker A: You know, he seems like he's about to pass out. And during this time, you look over and there's this woman in this very beautiful, or maybe it was beautiful point. It does seem to be a bit tattered, but she just sort of seems to be moving through the crowd towards the stage and no one seems to be paying her. And then it's probably about 5 seconds after you see her, she, um, someone very tall steps in front of her and then she's gone. From your view. Yeah. [00:53:13] Speaker D: Fuck are they putting in the punch? [00:53:16] Speaker C: Gerald's wondering what's in the pizza. [00:53:21] Speaker F: I love how, like, everyone else is like, what the fuck is up with this place? Kara's just like, okay. Haunting, valid, haunted. Some sort of incorporeal being, you know, mood. [00:53:34] Speaker A: Yeah. So then by this point, the song has transitioned all around the world by daft punk. [00:53:42] Speaker C: Okay. [00:53:46] Speaker A: It looks like a dude that's, like, 26, 27 that's being paid to do this. But, like, halfway through the song, like, everything sort of starts getting a little quiet and looks to be some sort of faculty member comes up on stage and, you know, taps the mic and just goes, oh, thank you, freshmen, for joining us here tonight for this mixer and freshman orientation. I hope the punch and the pizza are to all of your likings and maybe that you're meeting some kindred spirits here. You know, we want to make everyone feel welcome here at Blackwall. So, yes, I'm sure all of you are ready to get out of here and do other things, but. But first, we have. We have a little bit of this bonding exercise that we've. We've all assigned you to random groups and a bit of a scavenger hunt going on, but the first person who finishes does get a prize. And you should all be receiving a text with your grouped number in just a moment. And as he says that all of your phones buzz with the number four. [00:55:00] Speaker F: I don't love that. [00:55:03] Speaker D: You couldn't have made it 69. [00:55:05] Speaker E: Super speaking here. [00:55:09] Speaker D: Wait, so Guillermo and I are in the same group, right? [00:55:12] Speaker A: Yes. We all have the number four. He's just like, yes. If you could all find your group members. And then the first clue should be arriving in about five minutes. Get to know each other, figure out what your plan is. But other than that, enjoy the rest of your night. Students and official activities begin tomorrow morning for orientation. You've got your selecting of classes and various other things we have scheduled for you. We hope you enjoy your time here at Blackwall. [00:55:45] Speaker C: Did you say we had the number four? [00:55:48] Speaker D: Jeremy, we're in the same group. [00:55:50] Speaker C: Yeah, that's good, but you have to talk to other people. I don't like it. [00:55:56] Speaker A: There are a couple other, like, there are a couple of, like, upperclassmen who appear to be like Ras and things like that that are starting to go around and help people find their group. So, Casper, you and Guillermo get approached by this guy who's an upperclassman. He's probably about your height, Casper, but, like, this dude is. He's ripped. He looks like a football player. Yeah. No, and he is Dorito. [00:56:30] Speaker C: Could that be his name? [00:56:31] Speaker B: Please, using my terms. I'm so proud of you? [00:56:35] Speaker A: Yes, Dorito. [00:56:36] Speaker E: Proportioned. Is that what you're telling me? [00:56:38] Speaker A: Proportioned? [00:56:39] Speaker E: All right. His name is Chris, I assume. [00:56:41] Speaker C: No, his name is Crisp. [00:56:45] Speaker F: Crispin or Crispin. Crispin. [00:56:48] Speaker C: No, no, no, no. Ignacio. [00:56:56] Speaker A: He will actually tell you his name is Ron Ste. And he. [00:56:59] Speaker F: Of course it is. [00:57:04] Speaker A: He is. He's actually the Ra for Cheney. [00:57:08] Speaker D: That's my place. Right? [00:57:09] Speaker A: Yeah. He's like, yeah, I think you're on my floor. [00:57:11] Speaker D: Oh, third floor. [00:57:13] Speaker A: Yeah, that's mine. [00:57:14] Speaker D: Oh, that's great. We don't really want to keep you for any longer. We already got in a good amount of the group. [00:57:21] Speaker A: There should be a few more of you. And he just sort of goes, anyone else have the number four? [00:57:27] Speaker C: Oh, no. Guillermo's just going to shrink down. [00:57:31] Speaker F: Do I have the number four? [00:57:33] Speaker A: All of you have the number four? [00:57:35] Speaker F: Kara just sort of, like, silently after confirming that Stefan has a different number, just silently makes his way to the. The guy shouting, does anyone have the number four? [00:57:47] Speaker A: Yep. [00:57:49] Speaker B: I am also going to do the same thing. I am not happy comfortable going to. [00:57:56] Speaker E: Do one last lap around the room and then go towards the one shouting, forward, shouting, golf. And then get there and do you need a. Do you need a golf ball? [00:58:10] Speaker A: And she goes, great joke. Uh, looking for. You got number four. [00:58:16] Speaker E: Regrettably, yeah. [00:58:17] Speaker A: Well, here is your character. [00:58:19] Speaker F: Shows his phone before. Yeah. [00:58:23] Speaker A: Yep. [00:58:23] Speaker F: Well, wait a second. You're the Ra on the third. [00:58:26] Speaker A: Yeah, no, that's me. [00:58:28] Speaker F: What's your name? [00:58:29] Speaker A: Ron. [00:58:30] Speaker F: Okay. [00:58:31] Speaker A: If you have any problems with anything, just come to me. My door is always open. [00:58:35] Speaker E: I have a problem with this. [00:58:36] Speaker A: I bet you could definitely take that up with the faculty after this. I did not set any of this up. They just asked me to come and do this. I was trying to make sure all the groups are good and everybody's ready to go. [00:58:53] Speaker F: Scavenger hunt. What are we? [00:58:54] Speaker A: You should be getting your first clue in just a moment. Laura, I'll have you join the group. [00:59:00] Speaker B: Yes. Quiet was always there. [00:59:04] Speaker A: Sort of pop up, like, yes, I'm here. Everyone's like, huh? [00:59:08] Speaker F: Care's not. [00:59:10] Speaker C: Yeah, just like, also quiet, but just gives the awkward. Like, the bisexual two thumbs up. [00:59:15] Speaker F: Kara's just like, same hat. [00:59:16] Speaker A: I. [00:59:23] Speaker C: Yeah, you have this brightest fuck. Motherfucker. [00:59:27] Speaker B: I would like to look at Tanith, realize that I'm still gay, and then look away. [00:59:33] Speaker A: Here we go. [00:59:34] Speaker C: Right? [00:59:35] Speaker A: So I was like, how tall, this tan? [00:59:37] Speaker E: Oh, shoot. I think I decided she was 510, but is unafraid to wear tall boots. [00:59:43] Speaker F: And then she'd be taller than Kara. [00:59:45] Speaker E: She's got boots on right now, though. [00:59:47] Speaker C: I'm here for this as Dustin here. [00:59:48] Speaker A: For this. [00:59:51] Speaker E: Your height. [00:59:52] Speaker D: The question is, am I still taller? [00:59:54] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:59:56] Speaker F: Yes. [00:59:57] Speaker A: I don't think Ken is wearing five six. [01:00:00] Speaker E: 3510 absolutely has a pair of shoes that will make her taller, but these are not them. [01:00:12] Speaker A: Shut up. [01:00:12] Speaker B: For, like, a hot second. You're the math game. What do you mean you don't know how you know that? Six five, you fool. [01:00:21] Speaker D: Let me correct myself. I don't know how high heeled shoes work because I don't wear high heel shoes. [01:00:26] Speaker A: I don't know how. [01:00:28] Speaker F: Yeah, it depends on the height of the heel and if the heel is a platform or not. I've got two pairs. [01:00:34] Speaker E: It's just like, combat boots, so they're not adding that. [01:00:37] Speaker D: Okay. Because I was like, yeah, is tan wear, like, foot high shoes? Is she, like, that tall? [01:00:43] Speaker E: No, she's not walking into, like, a disco dancer. No. Go go boots. [01:00:49] Speaker F: Tan's bot multi paths. [01:00:54] Speaker A: I am a meat popsicle. [01:00:59] Speaker D: I see as a resident social person team and tries to make everyone happy all the time. I'm going to, you know, say hello. It's very cute, your text and everything. [01:01:09] Speaker A: Yeah. And as you say that, your phone buzzes. [01:01:11] Speaker D: Oh, I'm gonna check my phone. [01:01:13] Speaker A: It says, the first clue is to follow the founder's gaze to what he sees. [01:01:18] Speaker C: Now, how do you spell. How's. [01:01:20] Speaker F: How's gay spelled G A Z e, apparently. I think I found a statue, or I think I saw a statue on the way. We should probably go. [01:01:32] Speaker C: Okay. [01:01:33] Speaker F: And care just starts walking. [01:01:35] Speaker D: Just start following. And also checking on Guillermo gans. Like, you. You want to go back here? [01:01:40] Speaker C: The music stopped. [01:01:41] Speaker D: Okay. [01:01:42] Speaker C: Has the music stopped? We're leaving the music, so it doesn't matter. [01:01:45] Speaker A: Yeah. One, you're leaving the music, and two, the music hasn't, like, come back up since, like, the guy's. It hits. [01:01:49] Speaker D: Oh, thank God. Out of character. Thank God. [01:01:52] Speaker B: I. [01:01:52] Speaker C: In character. Thank fucking. [01:01:56] Speaker A: Yeah. So, yeah, there you are. You're very correct. There is a statue of the founder on campus. [01:02:03] Speaker E: All right, where is he looking? [01:02:04] Speaker A: He is over in the Tiffany loop. [01:02:07] Speaker E: Sorry. What is he looking at? [01:02:10] Speaker A: Once you get to him. [01:02:11] Speaker D: Yeah, let's walk to Tiffany, you know, head to cut through the grass and everything, because that's. [01:02:15] Speaker A: Yeah, you. You do that. Any conversations you want to have along the way. [01:02:22] Speaker F: Oh, um, care is gonna look at, uh, Laurel and go. Care, by the way, nod. [01:02:31] Speaker B: And so. [01:02:34] Speaker F: Oh, care doesn't even offer. [01:02:36] Speaker A: Awesome. Amazing. [01:02:37] Speaker F: There's an immediately care nods back. At least we're away from that dreadful music. [01:02:44] Speaker B: Early 2000. [01:02:45] Speaker F: I mean, are the two mutually. [01:02:50] Speaker C: You just hear, like, you hear quietly. We'll just, like. Like, listening just because, like, else is talking. Just mood. [01:03:00] Speaker F: Here. [01:03:01] Speaker E: We can all ditch. [01:03:03] Speaker F: No, don't play by the rules. [01:03:05] Speaker D: I mean, if you guys want. If you guys want, I can just want to just. I can do it. [01:03:11] Speaker C: And just, like, you're just like Casper. No. [01:03:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:14] Speaker F: What's your name? And Kara's gonna. Kara's just sort of looking up at Casper. [01:03:21] Speaker A: What is your name? What's the wind like up there? [01:03:30] Speaker D: Oh, yeah. My name is Casper. So give a little nod politely, like, if you guys do want to dip me. [01:03:36] Speaker F: Three ounce. [01:03:37] Speaker D: What? [01:03:38] Speaker F: You seem a little height. Breathe in three. [01:03:43] Speaker C: You see Guillermo, like, instantly doing that. Like, not saying anything. [01:03:48] Speaker D: Someone. Casper, do this. Casper, not even asking. Okay, sure. [01:03:52] Speaker A: Yeah, I believe. I mean, Casper and Tanith recognize each other. I believe you both had. I was just gonna say, do you recognize each other? Because you, if I remember correctly, you both have connections to your childhood. [01:04:07] Speaker D: True. I was. [01:04:08] Speaker E: Yeah. I will say, oh, no, I still. [01:04:11] Speaker D: Have the fucking chip bracelet, by the way. It's all. [01:04:18] Speaker E: Tanith will kind of, like, look at you while you're doing the breathing exercises and say, that is the second cat. That's a Seattle name. [01:04:27] Speaker D: Oh, that's interesting. What's your name? [01:04:30] Speaker E: Tanith. [01:04:31] Speaker A: Huh. [01:04:31] Speaker D: I guess that's the second Tanith I've met, too. [01:04:35] Speaker C: Like, if this were a comic, a question mark will pop over Guillermo's head. [01:04:42] Speaker F: And they are Laurel and care. [01:04:45] Speaker A: She's gonna look at it more, like. [01:04:46] Speaker E: Closely because, like, his personality is wildly different than the casper she knew. And, like, be taking in, like, mentally doing the math. Like, okay, if you. Or they. And now what do they look like now that they have gotten older? And then just be like, isn't that. [01:05:06] Speaker D: Do I know you? [01:05:07] Speaker E: Oh, my gosh. Frito. [01:05:15] Speaker D: Oh, my rose. What are you doing here? [01:05:19] Speaker E: I thought you were dead. [01:05:21] Speaker A: What? [01:05:23] Speaker D: Why would I be dead? I don't know. I haven't heard from you in years. You just went off to the city. [01:05:29] Speaker E: And never came back. [01:05:31] Speaker B: It was. [01:05:31] Speaker D: It was very hard to, you know, get. Get time to text you. God, I'm so sorry. [01:05:36] Speaker E: Oh, my gosh. You stopped texting after, like, immediately. [01:05:43] Speaker F: Oh, my God. [01:05:47] Speaker D: A lot of stuff happened. It was. It was very hectic. [01:05:50] Speaker E: But I know your life was falling apart. [01:05:52] Speaker D: I just. [01:05:52] Speaker E: I was worried. I. Oh, my gosh. Look at you. You're so tall. Frito. I can't believe you're taller than me. How dare you call you a little corn chip anymore. [01:06:11] Speaker F: Can I interrupt this? But the statues look. [01:06:14] Speaker D: Oh, right. But quickly, I'm gonna hold up my wrist. It has, like, a really old, battered, ass, like, frame. This is on it like, something kid would make. That looks, it looks really shitty. It looks like it's gone through the ringer or two, but it's, like, held together. It's been repaired a couple times. [01:06:27] Speaker E: It's like, look, Fredo. Oh, my gosh. [01:06:33] Speaker D: I guess so. This is, this is one of my high school friends. This is Guillermo. I'm gonna, like, you know, wrap it around Guillermo. [01:06:39] Speaker E: Introduce him. [01:06:41] Speaker F: Hello. [01:06:42] Speaker C: Hi. I'm the awkward one. Nice, nice. Nice to meet you, I think. [01:06:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:06:48] Speaker C: Hi. Yeah, Guillermo again. I don't know how to talk usually. [01:06:54] Speaker E: Use your mouth. [01:06:55] Speaker C: I mean, you. Yeah, you have a point. [01:07:01] Speaker F: Cool, cool, cool. [01:07:02] Speaker A: And as you're, as you're walking to the statue, all happening. As you're walking, you do pass two people heading in the opposite direction. One of them looks much older as an older asian woman. She's wearing a very nice pressed suit. And followed, followed by this person. They've got a shaved head. They're wearing ripped up jeans and a denim vest over, like, just a black t shirt. And, you know, they're having a conversation. And you just get, you just get a snippet from, like, the one with the, like, the buzz cut, just being like, God damn it. Why. Why is this equipment always so. And then just the person who's maybe a professor, you're not sure, and just being like, yes, this is what I pay you for. Patch, come on. We, uh, we only have a limited amount of time before, you know, get into this building. And then they are heading in the opposite direction, and you eventually find yourself to the statue. Uh, and you'll sort of see, like, there are a couple other groups just sort of, like, milling about. Like, some of them are taking this seriously. Some of them are. [01:08:06] Speaker B: Okay, so, this whole time, Laurel has just been mulling over the fact that there's someone named Casper. [01:08:18] Speaker C: That you're in the group with. [01:08:20] Speaker B: Laurel is just Laurel. Yeah. Laurel's just like, I've read about this. Like, quiet, like your mumbles. I've read about this. Loving their children a little too much. And now we have. Laurel's very. Yeah, like, Laura don't give a shit. Okay. We pass people. Great. Someone's named Casper for, quote. [01:09:01] Speaker F: I assume Kara's still sort of standing next to Laurel as all the chaos is happening in front of them. And, like, kind of catches a little at least the anime protagonist line. And you just hear a. I think. [01:09:14] Speaker C: Guillermo's just kind of, like, awkwardly standing between the two people. Just like, the brightest one is the most quiet. I'm just like, he's kind of, like, sitting back before. He's like, should I take out? And he's gonna like, hey, are y'all narcs? [01:09:29] Speaker E: Absolutely not. [01:09:30] Speaker D: Why? [01:09:30] Speaker E: Need me to put. [01:09:31] Speaker D: No, it's time for Mars. [01:09:33] Speaker C: Yeah. And then he's just gonna kind of, like, switch the backpack around. So he's like, he's kind of still wearing it, but now, like, it's in front of him. And he's gonna, like, unzip a little bit, and Marzipan's head is just gonna pop out and just, like, you know, chill there. This is Marzipan. [01:09:49] Speaker D: Can I pet marzipan the second his head? I. [01:09:51] Speaker C: Yes. [01:09:52] Speaker E: You have a cat in your backpack. [01:09:53] Speaker C: Yeah. There's no cats allowed. [01:09:55] Speaker E: Oh, no. Not to eat the cat. Because I wanted my pet. [01:10:00] Speaker C: Yeah. Marzipan is super friendly, and, like, it's probably, like. It looks like they're used to this. [01:10:07] Speaker F: Here just has a lot of understanding and an understanding look in Marzipan. I feel no petting yet. [01:10:14] Speaker A: I see you, cat. [01:10:17] Speaker B: Laurel just looks around because we're in public in front of the statue school, and you just pulled out a cat from your. [01:10:23] Speaker C: No. Backpack. [01:10:25] Speaker B: From your backpack. Same thing. Same thing. [01:10:28] Speaker C: Well, I'm also, like, standing next to, like, the tallest fucking person ever. [01:10:31] Speaker B: Doesn't matter. A cat came out of you. So Laurel's just gonna take, like, two steps back off to the side. So that way, if, you know, you get in trouble, Laurel can just look away. I am closing my eyes. [01:10:47] Speaker C: You know English. [01:10:50] Speaker F: So where's the statue? [01:10:53] Speaker A: You're. I would say you are. You're kind of standing right in front of it. From what you can tell. It definitely appears to be looking essentially as looking west, let's say. Because it was like, there's no compass rose. So I'm guessing this is just. No, wait, there's at the bottom, so, yeah, west, west towards the river. [01:11:13] Speaker E: Any building. Uh, I mean, I see. Yes. But, like, anything directly, like, if we line ourselves up with the statue, it's. [01:11:23] Speaker A: A little bit, like, off the ground. It's like, I climb the statue to. [01:11:27] Speaker E: Look over its head. Do not test me. [01:11:29] Speaker D: I drew a line on the map real quick. Sorry about that. But it looks like it literally. [01:11:33] Speaker A: You're going. You're going northwest. [01:11:36] Speaker F: Oh, okay. [01:11:37] Speaker E: West is the opposite direction. West is. [01:11:40] Speaker A: Oh, northeast. I don't. I'm bad at things. [01:11:45] Speaker F: I better never eat sour watermelon. [01:11:47] Speaker E: Oh, I always heard it soggy wheat. That's fun. [01:11:50] Speaker F: I also heard never eat soggy waffles. [01:11:52] Speaker E: All of these are surprising yummies. [01:11:55] Speaker F: The points of the cardinal rose, northeast, southwest, never end. The mnemonic being never eat soggy sour watermelon. Soggy wheat makes way more sense. I went to school in the south. Now, uh, cares, Nate. Care's just, like, looking at the direction, just going, cool. And then care just keeps walking. [01:12:15] Speaker D: Right? Yeah, we should definitely. Are you sure, you guys? I don't mind, dude, if you guys want to. [01:12:19] Speaker A: You're guessing it's probably this building, which, um, you can't really make out what it is from here, uh, because as you've done this, it sort of seems like this mist is the sort of low hanging fog that, like, it's just clinging to the ground and making it hard to see more than, like, 30ft ahead of you. [01:12:40] Speaker F: Care slows down to stay with the group. Well, we won't have to worry about height. [01:12:46] Speaker C: Yeah, Guillermo, like, just, like, scritches. They're really quick. Like, yeah, they're very. Well. [01:12:52] Speaker E: Do you ever wear your back in the front? Like, a baby bounce with your cat in it? [01:12:56] Speaker C: No, only when, like, they need to get. Normally, I just wear. Don't worry. There's lots of, I mean, I carried. [01:13:02] Speaker E: My snake in my boobs. Like, I wasn't worried. [01:13:05] Speaker A: Grace, right. [01:13:06] Speaker D: Right now? [01:13:07] Speaker E: No, no. Marigold's at home. It's a nice, warm spot. I have taken her to a store once since I forgot she was in there. [01:13:14] Speaker C: So I guess we're on our way right now. [01:13:17] Speaker D: Yeah. Let's keep walking through this mist. Spooky, scary skulls is just playing in the background. [01:13:23] Speaker E: You hear it distantly. The techno version. [01:13:27] Speaker F: No, my dog. My dog looks so dejected because if she was in, would hear thumping of her scratching herself, the jangling of her collar, and God knows. [01:13:37] Speaker D: I'm just saying. Dj for final boss. Anyway. [01:13:43] Speaker A: So, uh, you eventually it, what looks to be a renovated church, comes into view. Outside, there's a sign that marks it as an arts building. [01:13:59] Speaker F: Air visibly stiffened. [01:14:00] Speaker A: And it's sort of like that old sort of gothic architecture. This definitely looks very old. [01:14:05] Speaker D: Is charismatic. Visibly stiffening, very noticeable. [01:14:08] Speaker F: If you're paying attention. [01:14:09] Speaker B: I'm pretty observant, so I guess Laura would probably. I'm also, like, standing right beside you. Sort of just gonna look at it. [01:14:23] Speaker F: Care. [01:14:25] Speaker B: Yep. Look, I'm sorry, okay? It sucks to suck when, you know. [01:14:29] Speaker D: So you just have to be more off you just to be more careful. [01:14:34] Speaker B: I'm going to destroy you. And then you really will become a friendly ghost. [01:14:45] Speaker F: You mean an amicable spirit? Because we are amicable spirit. [01:14:50] Speaker B: Amicable spirit, yes. Which. [01:15:02] Speaker A: I would say you're currently standing in the, like, the parking lot in front of this sort of old gothic looking church. There appears to be, like, a piece of paper or something taped on the door. [01:15:15] Speaker D: Oh, I will read it. [01:15:17] Speaker A: It says, find the light in the darkness. [01:15:20] Speaker D: It says, find the light in the dark. Is there anything else on the page, like, on the backside or, like, to investigate or. [01:15:27] Speaker A: No. [01:15:27] Speaker D: Okay. Casper's not gonna. [01:15:29] Speaker A: Casper, the door is unlocked. You can tell. There. There are lights on inside. [01:15:34] Speaker E: I can't imagine this is the only light around campus. Not good. [01:15:39] Speaker D: Uh, checking out the inside for not be a good idea if I can go in first, or I can just look around if you guys want. [01:15:46] Speaker E: There's not anywhere that's like, uh, not like. Only word I can think of is lighthouse, but obviously not an actual lighthouse, but, like, a. A large light on campus. Like a. I don't know, a radio tower or. Probably wouldn't have there, but, you know, something like that. It's a religious campus. [01:16:10] Speaker A: No, it is not. It's not a. It is also not a active church. [01:16:14] Speaker F: Care is still looking at a texture and is. [01:16:17] Speaker B: Well, the door is unlocked. [01:16:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I can just. [01:16:21] Speaker A: It's like. It's, like, slightly propped open. [01:16:24] Speaker B: Laurel's just gonna go in, then, like. Wait, is there a light switch in here when I enter? [01:16:32] Speaker A: Uh, no, not directly. [01:16:35] Speaker B: When you enter, can I look for. [01:16:37] Speaker A: Yeah, I'd say it's, like, further down. Um, it's, like, closer to, like, this is. This has been turned into, like, there's nothing that in here that would really remind you of the church other than the way the building is built. Like, any pews are no longer there. They've been replaced. Just, like, chairs. There's, like, a receptionist's desk. And then you see that, like, it's been retrofit. Retrofitted. And, like, there are classrooms and all sorts of things in here. But, yes, it doesn't take you that long to find a light switch. It is closer to, like, the desk. [01:17:10] Speaker B: Cool. I flick it on, like, I flick it twice, and. [01:17:13] Speaker A: Yep. [01:17:15] Speaker F: Okay. [01:17:15] Speaker D: I'm going to investigate this building for any late in the darkness types of things. [01:17:19] Speaker A: Cool. Let's see. You may. We may. Let's do our very first role. Let us investigate when you use your abilities, seek answers. So burning questions roll, plus power on a hit you include power. So are there any way, city of mist, are there any particular tags that you want to use with this? If not, it is a straight d six. [01:17:50] Speaker D: Okay. You scared me for a second. I was like, um, I'll be rolled one d six with seven being a partial success. I don't think I'm gonna do it. Yeah, I don't. I don't think anything that I have will fit this. No, everybody do. [01:18:04] Speaker A: Yeah, if everybody, everybody can do it. You're all working together on this, so more likely than not. Like, whoever wants to do it, there is a, uh, will be the one who does it, and then I will have the other people support. [01:18:19] Speaker B: Well, I have. I have people pleasing in which where I'm doing this just to get it over with. So that way I can, uh. But I also have always expect the worst, so I'm just assuming we're gonna fail. I have. [01:18:33] Speaker A: Yeah, roll that. Uh, your two. D six plus two for your two power tags. Okay. [01:18:39] Speaker F: I think here's the last one. When he sees that, it's been sort of visibly two d six plus. [01:18:44] Speaker A: Yep. Is the two for your two power tags. Nine. So, yes. You get on a hit, you get clues equal to power. So you get two clues. And on a seven to nine, you can also choose one. Exposes you to danger clues. You get our fuzzy, incomplete, or partially drink. False. Um, I'm not gonna say we're not gonna worry about those too much, because there's no danger. Right now. [01:19:10] Speaker C: Right now. [01:19:10] Speaker B: Right now that I get two clues, two questions. Okay. What. What are we looking for? [01:19:18] Speaker F: Like, what is hidden here? And where is it? [01:19:22] Speaker B: What? There's actual. So I have to ask, because I don't see. [01:19:25] Speaker A: No, they're not specific ones, as far as I'm aware. [01:19:28] Speaker B: Okay, cool. Then what are we looking for? Like, exactly? It was just a bit of a riddle, and I want to figure out the, um. [01:19:35] Speaker A: You're thinking it might be a candle. [01:19:36] Speaker B: Um. Where's the candle? [01:19:43] Speaker A: Uh, in this building? [01:19:45] Speaker C: Where? [01:19:46] Speaker A: Huh? [01:19:47] Speaker C: When is the candle? [01:19:48] Speaker A: When. [01:19:49] Speaker B: Where exactly is the candle? [01:19:53] Speaker A: It's not on this current. [01:19:55] Speaker B: Okay, well, I just go. We're looking candle. And if there's stairs or something to go up there. [01:20:01] Speaker A: Stairs to go up. And there's stairs to go. [01:20:02] Speaker B: I'm going up. I don't want to die. [01:20:05] Speaker D: Oh, uh, if you're going up, I can go down, then. [01:20:10] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't think we need to. It's probably not gonna be. [01:20:13] Speaker B: I'm already gone. I went up. Bye. [01:20:15] Speaker D: Okay, we should catch up to Laurel. [01:20:17] Speaker E: Then, uh, I'll go with her. [01:20:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I'll. If we're not gonna separate this, I'll just. Am I going to follow them? [01:20:23] Speaker A: Yep. [01:20:23] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:20:24] Speaker F: Kara's going to bring up the. [01:20:26] Speaker A: So you look around on the second floor. [01:20:29] Speaker D: Is there a third floor? [01:20:31] Speaker A: No, there's a. There's the ground floor, sort of a first floor where it's got just a bunch of classrooms. And then there looks to be some, like, labs and various, like, studios in the basements. [01:20:43] Speaker D: Oh, I guess. I guess we are going to. I'll go first if you guys want. [01:20:47] Speaker B: Looks dirty. [01:20:50] Speaker A: The hard question is on episode one. [01:20:52] Speaker F: Are you okay? [01:20:56] Speaker D: Look at this guy that's just dropping this shit and just kind of, like, tilt my head a little bit. This is a scavenger hunt. I'm just helping camera. [01:21:09] Speaker C: Just like they. They put their self sometimes. Anyways, let's go downstairs. Starts like. Like, grabbing. Uh, not dragging, but like, you know, grabs their, like, shirt and starts just them along. [01:21:24] Speaker F: Care. Mutters something about, well, maybe. [01:21:26] Speaker A: Cool. [01:21:27] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:21:27] Speaker B: Is it dirty? Is it dirty? [01:21:29] Speaker A: No, this place is very well cleaned. [01:21:31] Speaker B: Okay, good. I don't trust basements. [01:21:33] Speaker A: I mean, it's like age. We can turn it into studios. So it's not like it's completely, uh. Like no one uses it. People use this? [01:21:41] Speaker B: Yeah, no, like, no, what I. What I don't want to do is touch the railing and then look at my hand and see the fucking, like, trail of, I don't know, dust or something. [01:21:50] Speaker A: No trails of dust. [01:21:52] Speaker F: You're wearing gloves. [01:21:54] Speaker B: And I have gloves, too. [01:21:56] Speaker F: Do you need gloves for your gloves? [01:21:59] Speaker B: Maybe. I have tons of gloves in the comfort of my home. [01:22:05] Speaker A: So you walk. Walk down into the base and there are just rooms that look like there are studios. And it's often, like, most of them are dark. They're not locked or unlocked. Sort of off in the distance, down a hall, there is one studio that is open on a table. A single burning. [01:22:26] Speaker B: I pull out my phone and turn the flash on because I'm not about this light. [01:22:30] Speaker F: Could I quietly make, like, actively. Well, not like trying to be hunched over and sneak, but quietly make my way to. Yeah, if I have to roll, I will. [01:22:43] Speaker A: I would say that's not really a role because there is before, no active threat right now. There's no way. [01:22:49] Speaker F: Okay. I think this place is haunted. [01:22:54] Speaker A: Like, I mean, if you would roll a sneak around, be my guest. [01:23:01] Speaker F: Not yet. I shan't push my luck. [01:23:06] Speaker E: You know, if I was student life, I would be tromping through an art building yeah, if I was an artist, I'd be real pissed. Jeff, fire has really is unattended. [01:23:14] Speaker D: They could have just used it. [01:23:16] Speaker B: Owned the candle like that. We're supposed to pick up, like, a fucking clue. [01:23:21] Speaker A: So you all do. You all walk into the studio where the candle is? [01:23:26] Speaker B: Yeah, but I have my cell phones flash on because I ain't about this lifestyle. [01:23:31] Speaker A: Okay. Um, so, yes, there is a. I. [01:23:34] Speaker E: Mean, isn't there a light switch for the studio to turn on? [01:23:37] Speaker A: Yes, I'm gonna turn it on the ball. Now that utters and dies. [01:23:41] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Switch girl has to go turn the switch on twice. [01:23:49] Speaker A: I mean, it doesn't do anything, but you do that. Yeah. And it's this. There's nothing in this particular studio that looks to be any projects, anything on. But it's a table that looks. It's covered in paint stains and various other art meats. And in the center of it, there's a lone candle. You didn't notice this before, but it's made of black wack. [01:24:14] Speaker E: Wow. Edgy. [01:24:15] Speaker F: That's cool. I mean, yeah. [01:24:19] Speaker C: Did say that's haunted? [01:24:21] Speaker D: I don't. I don't think it's haunted. [01:24:23] Speaker F: Uh, is there a candle holder that. [01:24:25] Speaker A: No, it appears to be melted onto the table. [01:24:28] Speaker F: Oh. Oh, geez. Why. Why wouldn't anyone put this in a container? [01:24:36] Speaker C: Where's the fucking clue? [01:24:38] Speaker D: Dm, maybe we have to blow it. [01:24:40] Speaker C: Out in the darkass room. [01:24:43] Speaker E: They have flashlights. [01:24:45] Speaker C: Yeah, Gary was putting out his phone and putting on the flashlight too. [01:24:49] Speaker D: Yeah, like, I think the lights are on, but if we blow it out, then how? [01:24:51] Speaker E: Well, then they shouldn't have no candle. [01:24:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:24:54] Speaker E: A spare draft could blow this thing out. [01:24:56] Speaker F: Garrett's gonna blow it out. [01:24:57] Speaker A: Okay. [01:25:00] Speaker E: Kenneth not scared. [01:25:02] Speaker D: Me. [01:25:02] Speaker E: A little scared. [01:25:04] Speaker A: As soon as you blow it out, the room gets incredibly dark. The darkness seems to. They don't seem to be doing much. They're illuminating a little bit outside of you. And as you're doing this, you shrink as the door closes behind you. [01:25:25] Speaker E: Lighter? I feel like I would have a lighter, but I don't smoke. [01:25:29] Speaker F: I feel. I mean, I feel like Sarah has a lot. [01:25:31] Speaker A: That's valid. I was gonna say I have a lighter and I don't smoke, but I do. [01:25:36] Speaker E: That's true. That's true. I need a lighter. Not because I smoke. [01:25:39] Speaker A: I just have a lighter. [01:25:42] Speaker F: I kind of feel like in this cardigan, there is a lighter, because the last time, Kerrigan. Well, Kerrigan isn't even his name. It's just care. Wow. I got care and Cardigan mixed up in my mind because the last time care wore this cardigan. Cardigan. [01:26:01] Speaker A: Ha. [01:26:02] Speaker F: He probably lit a car. [01:26:03] Speaker A: Yep. Seth, you have a lighter. Uh, you pull it out and light it. And it is very. It's very much. Doesn't seem to illuminate that much. Um, one of you. I don't know who. One of you glances up at the. And there appears to be something painted in ultraviolet paint. [01:26:22] Speaker D: Uh, we all do it. [01:26:24] Speaker B: Power Ranger styles. Where we all look up. [01:26:27] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, totally. And it's this. It's this thing. And it glows sort of a greenish aura. Seems to produce light on its. [01:26:37] Speaker B: Is it a penis? [01:26:43] Speaker A: It is not a penis. It is a circle. And there appear. There appears to be crudely drawn eye in the middle of it. [01:26:54] Speaker F: Uh, um. Hi. Master of ceremony. Yeah, um, Kara's major is pagan. [01:27:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:27:03] Speaker F: Is there anything from his schoolwork that might tip this off? Oh, or some sort of similarity that he's potentially studied? [01:27:13] Speaker A: Give me an investigate. Cool. [01:27:14] Speaker D: Aubrey, can I ask a question? Can catch the door. Is there like, openable? [01:27:19] Speaker A: You like, twist the handle and it does nothing. [01:27:21] Speaker D: Guys, I think the door is not working. [01:27:26] Speaker F: I wrote a message. [01:27:27] Speaker C: You mean it's like. [01:27:27] Speaker A: Did you. What power tags did you want to use? [01:27:30] Speaker F: Oh, shoot. Okay, probably so many books and. Well, do I have any power tags for my routine yet? [01:27:43] Speaker A: I will say. I will allow you your power tags for your. [01:27:45] Speaker F: Okay, so many books and potentially calm in the storm. [01:27:52] Speaker A: So that's a plus two. [01:27:54] Speaker F: Okay, so on the character sheet, I'll just. Actually just do these two, right? [01:28:04] Speaker A: Yep. [01:28:04] Speaker F: Okay. Sorry, I'm not used to using. [01:28:10] Speaker A: That's an eleven, so yes, you can ask two questions. [01:28:15] Speaker F: Okay. What does the symbol. What type of ritual is this symbol usually used for, like, divination, obduration, anything like that? [01:28:29] Speaker D: Murdering teenagers in a building? [01:28:31] Speaker F: Teleporting teenagers with attitude. What's going on? [01:28:37] Speaker A: It appears to be something that is used to maybe break an enchantment. But you. The circle itself seems to have symbols drawn on it. The eye seems to be in particular, a. It doesn't fit with that. It appears to be something else entirely. But the circle itself seems to have some things. And you watch as it pulses again. Just the circle itself, it pulses with the green light. [01:29:08] Speaker F: Is this I related to sort of mythology? I think care would focus egyptian and greek mythology. [01:29:16] Speaker A: For egyptian and greek, you could think of a couple of things that involve eyes, but nothing that you could think would connect to this specific ritual. [01:29:24] Speaker F: So. Okay, just to recap, the circles themselves are to break an enchantment but the eyes can't think of anything that would be. Same hat within that. [01:29:35] Speaker A: Yeah, nothing. Same hat. You can think of a few things that are related to eyes usually involved just someone watching or something like, uh, but it doesn't have anything to do with the breaking. [01:29:46] Speaker F: Okay. Um, no one freak out of. What about what I'm about to say? Those circles mean that they're going to break an enchantment. [01:29:53] Speaker D: Um, dm. How well is magic in this world? Like, is this like a thing? [01:29:58] Speaker A: Like, uh, it's, it's, think of it. Magic currently is like, it is a treat. It like people treat, like, paganism, wicca, things like that. Currently it is like, it is a thing some people do, some people believe in, but there, it's not like there's science or anything behind it in this world as far as people know. [01:30:18] Speaker D: I mean, Casper's a little bitch, so I'll just be scared anyways. Whether or not, like, they're, like, this doesn't seem correct, but I'm gonna panic anyways. [01:30:26] Speaker B: It could be like a dream. [01:30:28] Speaker F: Major says it's not related to, um. [01:30:30] Speaker D: I'd like to. I keep trying the door. Like. [01:30:35] Speaker E: Can I try to kick the door open using my I workout tag? [01:30:44] Speaker A: Let's hit it with all you've got. [01:30:47] Speaker D: Yeah, I workout breaks a door. [01:30:51] Speaker E: Kick in. [01:30:52] Speaker A: Right angle plus power. So that's all. If you're only using workout or using any other tags. [01:30:57] Speaker E: Um, I don't think any of my others would, unless, I mean, I've got. I'd do anything for her if, if her is a flexible pronoun and can apply to multiple situations. [01:31:10] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah. I'll let it this time. Uh, I would say, like, casper's my bestie. Yeah, cast. Casper's one of your best friends. So, yeah, I will allow that. I'll do that. And roll that ten. [01:31:20] Speaker D: It's like I've missed you for many years. I've just found you again. I will never die for you. [01:31:25] Speaker E: So it's just, it's gonna be two d, six plus two. Because I don't know what buttons like here. [01:31:30] Speaker A: You can roll physical dice. [01:31:32] Speaker E: So it's gonna be a eight. [01:31:34] Speaker A: An eight. So, yeah, you hit against the door. It is a door. It is kind of like a aluminum door. So you get a really good kick on it. You get a good dent in it, but don't take it off if it hinges. But you, you don't take any, like, residual damage from kicking in an aluminum door. [01:31:56] Speaker E: Didn't realize it was aluminum. That's good to know. [01:31:58] Speaker C: Um. Okay. Is there, like, any other doors in this room? [01:32:03] Speaker A: Uh, keep me in a. Uh, let's. Oh. Hmm. Investigate. Or let's see me looking at all the moves. So I learned them because, I mean, investigate is like seed. Sure. Yeah, let's do investigate. [01:32:19] Speaker C: I cool with investigate. And I have. I'll do it myself. Or one of my. I want to escape my family tags. [01:32:26] Speaker A: Yep. [01:32:27] Speaker C: So it's two d, six. [01:32:29] Speaker A: Yep. Two d, six. Plus whatever power tags. You can do up to three power tags. [01:32:34] Speaker C: I think that's the only one I could think of. I think on this, like, I have a tag, Casper as my BFF. I don't know those. And I have. I don't know anyone's from there. I could use. [01:32:46] Speaker A: You're trying to, like, help find a way out, and Casper is in this situation, so for now, I will allow it. [01:32:51] Speaker D: Are you telling me that Casper panics tanith and Guillermo immediately? I am going to get so much power. [01:32:59] Speaker E: We draw power from your panic. [01:33:02] Speaker D: Nice. [01:33:03] Speaker C: I'm going to roll my. My gay sealer vintage. Oh, oh, oh. So that's a plus two to my role. So that is going to be a six. [01:33:15] Speaker A: That is the first fail. So you do gain whichever one that was. You do gain an attention on that, I believe you gain a build up on your character card for failing oral attentions and things. Attentions and cracks are different, but you gain a build up on your character. That is your experience. [01:33:31] Speaker C: Okay. Gotcha. [01:33:33] Speaker A: Cool. Uh, and you. You're just sort of feeling blindly around, and at one point you just push on a wall and you hear a click. [01:33:44] Speaker C: And at first there's excited, like, oh, I think I found a door. [01:33:48] Speaker A: Yeah. And sort of start pushing a section of wall that had no signs. It was a door open. [01:33:56] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, I'm start pushing it in, like, slowly. There's look of realizations, like, uh, y'all, I found a door. That's a wall. A wall. That's a door. I found a door. I think, help. [01:34:13] Speaker D: Okay, um, this will be. Can I phone someone? Like, can I, can I. Clearly they had to text us the instructions from some number. Can I like calling that number and being like, hey, help. We're stuck. [01:34:25] Speaker A: Uh, it did come from just like, one of those, like, four digit automated. [01:34:29] Speaker F: Yikes. [01:34:30] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:34:30] Speaker D: Can I find some. [01:34:31] Speaker F: Can I help? [01:34:32] Speaker D: No, no. Can I. No, no, no. Hold on. I got an idea. So colleges have their numbers kind of listed on websites, certain directories. Can I, like, google the school, find a phone number for, like, an applicable extension, and call them like, hey, help. [01:34:49] Speaker A: Let's roll. Change the game. [01:34:52] Speaker D: Okay, one sec. Um, I think I might have a power tag for this way. Yeah, um, I think I have, like, technology. Slash it, which might fit. [01:35:02] Speaker A: Sure. [01:35:03] Speaker D: I don't think anything else is gonna. Plus one. [01:35:06] Speaker A: So roll that two. D six. Plus one. [01:35:09] Speaker D: All of my stuff is incredibly niche and I'm realizing this now, but that's okay. Casper's a niche bitch. All right, dice, as usual. Kiss. That's a nine. [01:35:20] Speaker A: That's a nine. So you do gain one juice and you can save that for later. Or you can create a story tag, burn a power tag or storyteller, give or reduce a status, one tier point, but. So you're going to create a story tag. I will say this is going to be temporary and will disappear after you use it. But you have the story tag. Campus security. [01:35:46] Speaker D: Okay, so still getting used to the system. What does this mean now? Like, does it give me a bonus temporary tag? [01:35:53] Speaker A: So, like, if you. I'm gonna have you roll a face. Face danger and you can use that story tag as part of your tags. Actually, you're gonna do take the risk. [01:36:06] Speaker D: Okay. Is that like calling security? Do I have the number? [01:36:09] Speaker A: Yes, you have the phone number for. [01:36:11] Speaker D: Okay, so do I just use that as a plus one then, like my other? [01:36:15] Speaker A: And if you have anything else you. [01:36:17] Speaker D: Think might help you, I mean, Peter might. Because I'm going to be convincing these people to help us. [01:36:24] Speaker A: Sure, yeah. Roll. [01:36:26] Speaker F: I think says, I found a door. That's a wall. Kara just sort of like snaps out of it and then steps down from looking at, like, those symbols, like, molten. He was, like, tracing them multiple times in his head before trying to help. [01:36:46] Speaker D: I got an eleven plus. [01:36:47] Speaker A: So it's a 13. [01:36:49] Speaker D: That's spicy. Campus security. Please help us. [01:36:53] Speaker A: You do and it starts ringing and you know, and eventually you just hear like, yeah, campus security. [01:37:01] Speaker D: Hi, where are some of the freshmen that are. Wait, sorry, I got to get a proper customer's voice. Hello, we're a group of friends that are doing the scavenger hunt up supplied by the school. We are unfortunately stuck in the basement of the art school that will used to be at church. The door is locked. We cannot get out. Persistence because we're getting very scared. [01:37:19] Speaker A: That's not right. There should be nobody in that building. That building's locked up. [01:37:23] Speaker D: It wasn't locked. And the riddle led directly to it. This must have been a very, very bad misunderstanding. We are stuck, though. Please have help. [01:37:33] Speaker A: And you just hear you sort of like, here and you just sort of hear, like, muffled conversation. Yeah. And then you just hear, like, I guess we can send somebody over, take a look, say where you are, and we'll. We'll be there in, like, ten minutes. [01:37:51] Speaker D: Of course, we went into the basement, where I'm going to specify what, like, room we went into. And we are, uh. And say, thank you so, so much. [01:38:01] Speaker A: Hey. And you're just here. Yeah. [01:38:03] Speaker D: I'm gonna hang up and be like, okay, campus security should be here ten minutes, approximately. [01:38:08] Speaker C: There's, like, still the concern you use. [01:38:13] Speaker F: Pushing against the door, like, ten minutes. Oh, that's fast. Let's open this door. [01:38:19] Speaker A: Once you've started moving it, to open it and it leads into just another dark room. [01:38:27] Speaker C: Like, Guillermo, like, lifts up his film to see the flashlight. [01:38:31] Speaker A: Like, they see anything around it is a. This one appears to be remains the older architect. It's definitely nobody has seen in a while. There is a lot of dust. There's sort of maybe, like, a bit of dust that poofs out when you, like, when you, like, open the door and break the seal garments. [01:38:55] Speaker C: Like, just looking at us, it's like, ah, I don't know this. Where are we going? By the spooky basement. [01:39:02] Speaker D: I think it might be a good idea to just wait here and not go any further because campus security will be here in ten minutes. We can close the door, and ten will turn. It'll be okay if we at least just. [01:39:14] Speaker C: Guillermo's going. [01:39:16] Speaker B: Laurel will look for a chair and sit right on it. [01:39:20] Speaker F: She's not going to follow after Guillermo holding his phone with the flashlight. But can I try not to show. Can Kara try not to show what he's feeling? Doctor roll? Because. [01:39:34] Speaker A: No, I say you're pretty good. Everybody's pretty preoccupied with what is going on. [01:39:39] Speaker C: Guillermo is also, like, just gonna say, like, you know, if I die, I want evidence. He's gonna start recording as well. Like, he's gonna put. So just, like, I don't. So there's this church inside the church that's an art building. I'm with my new friend, care. [01:40:02] Speaker A: Hey, YouTube, it's me, Guillermo. It's me. My last video ever blocking my death. [01:40:09] Speaker F: Also, it's like, my new friend care Caster is just like Dori, man. [01:40:19] Speaker D: I don't know. Casper, like, split the group because, like, Laurel doesn't want to move. Casper doesn't want to move. [01:40:24] Speaker B: Laurel's not moving. There's absolutely nothing you do to get up from the chair. She's not. She's going to go stand right by the door. [01:40:35] Speaker F: Laurel's sitting on her own and the vip right now. She's not. [01:40:42] Speaker C: Going through this room. [01:40:45] Speaker A: Tanith, what are you doing? [01:40:47] Speaker E: I don't know. Chilling, I guess. I'm gonna use my phone light and look at any artwork that is in here. [01:40:54] Speaker A: There's absolutely no artwork. [01:40:56] Speaker E: Oh, well, what's the frigging point? Okay, fine. [01:41:00] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:41:01] Speaker E: I am going to take out my pocket knife, which I have because it's a tag, and I'm going to make artwork. [01:41:09] Speaker A: Sure. Yeah, I will say you work on that as a care. And Guillermo, go into the spooky room. [01:41:17] Speaker D: Be safe. Guillermo, if anything weird happens, please call for me so I can come help. [01:41:21] Speaker C: Don't worry, you'll hear me scream. [01:41:23] Speaker D: Yeah, scream loud so I can hear you. [01:41:26] Speaker F: So what is in this creepy room that has some of the old architecture and his freaking care out? [01:41:32] Speaker A: Yep. See another circle? This time on the floor. This one has a box in it. It looks like a old chest, like an old trunk or something. Not currently. [01:41:49] Speaker C: Um, Guillermo's gonna, like, point the camera at it and just kind of look at Kara's like. Okay, that's, like, definitely haunted. Right? [01:41:57] Speaker F: I'm going to hell anyway. And care is just gonna. [01:42:00] Speaker A: Care. [01:42:00] Speaker F: Just gonna try and open it. [01:42:02] Speaker A: Yeah. It gives a little bit of resistance when you flip open the two clasps. Uh, and you give it a little. Have to give it a little bit of a shove to open it. And then you look inside of it. [01:42:15] Speaker F: Yeah. Oh, yeah. [01:42:17] Speaker A: There is a person curled up into the. [01:42:20] Speaker E: What? [01:42:22] Speaker C: Excuse me. [01:42:23] Speaker F: Can I tell age? [01:42:25] Speaker A: The looks to be in their late twenties, early thirties. [01:42:29] Speaker F: Uh, they can progender signifiers that really don't mean anything. [01:42:33] Speaker A: Uh, they look male. [01:42:35] Speaker D: That's a whole ass person, Aubrey. [01:42:37] Speaker A: Yes, it is. Uh, and as you are, uh, as you are looking at them, they start. [01:42:44] Speaker C: To stir, and Karen's just like, you're a whole ass person. Why are you in a chest? [01:42:52] Speaker F: I think one of care's weaknesses is soft spot for the wayward. So I feel as if care is immediately hoping to help this. [01:43:03] Speaker A: Yep. So you're getting closer. [01:43:06] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:43:08] Speaker A: And as you reach out to you touch them, help them. And in some way, a hand moves faster than you could ever. It could move. It grabs your wrist, and it's a tight, vise like grip. And you'll watch as hair grows. Fur growth on the arm rapidly and the nails extend. You could feel them biting into your skin. And then the face turns up and looks at you, and it's just. The irises are completely red and you hear a growl. [01:43:42] Speaker C: You also hear screaming, by the way. [01:43:44] Speaker E: Yes. [01:43:47] Speaker D: The second I hear screaming, I will run in there. [01:43:49] Speaker A: If they start screaming, you start screaming. And essentially, as soon as care locks eyes with this thing, everyone blacks out. Nice. [01:43:57] Speaker C: Oh, no. [01:44:04] Speaker A: What does a barbarian war criminal, an undead cultist, a pyromaniac goblin, a hot topic reject, and a bard whose family is very, very cursed all have in common? Well, that's very simple. They're all our main cast. We are goblets and gays, a mostly Pathfinder, two e podcast set in a homebrew world. If Pathfinder isn't your thing, we have all sorts of other awesome games for you to enjoy. Join us every Wednesday for episodes of our main campaign, Blood of kings, as these chaotic gays attempt to locate some missing royalty. Let us get back into things and where we left off, you had all, every single one of you blacked out. [01:44:59] Speaker F: Yeah, exactly. [01:45:01] Speaker A: And let's start with Guillermo. [01:45:02] Speaker F: Oh. [01:45:06] Speaker C: No. [01:45:07] Speaker A: So, Guillermo, it seems like moments later, you're opening your eyes, you're laying on your back. This situation. It takes you a second, but you realize you're in a greenhouse. [01:45:21] Speaker C: Um. Guillermo, like, rubs his eyes and looks around just like, um, what the fuck? And looks around. Hurley. [01:45:33] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:45:35] Speaker C: Marzipan. Marzipan. [01:45:37] Speaker A: You don't have your bag. [01:45:39] Speaker C: Panic, panic. Gay panic. [01:45:44] Speaker F: No. [01:45:46] Speaker A: And as, as you're taking a look around, um, this greenhouse looks very old. It is incredibly overrun with, uh. And in the center of this greenhouse is this, what looks to be giant pink flower. It is bigger than you. [01:46:09] Speaker C: Okay. He's gonna, he's gonna stop looking around and just be like, okay. Okay. Then, like, just like, um, breathe in, three. Out, six. In, three, six. And just like, okay. And I just starts running around. And, like, is immediately drawn to the giant, uh, flower. [01:46:31] Speaker A: Yes. Do you touch it? [01:46:33] Speaker C: Um, because it's really pretty, probably, yeah. [01:46:37] Speaker A: And when you do touch it, it starts to unfurl a little bit, and eventually it opens up completely. And sitting in the middle is a woman. She has, her body seems to be made out of the same plants that this greenhouse is full of. And she has long, just long hair that matches the color of the flower for now. It seems to shift a little bit as she moves around. And then she smiles and just says, ah, yes, my wonderful, wonderful flower. I wondered when you would finally find your way to me. Uh, what mood? Yes. It was very, very confusing. But you. I. You unleashed something, and I, along with some others, had to step in and save you and your okay. [01:47:46] Speaker C: Did you. Did you. Did you see marzipan? Did you see my cat? [01:47:49] Speaker A: Your cat is fine. You are only mentally here. You are not physically. You are still where you are. But we protected you and your. The others from harm. [01:48:03] Speaker C: That's somehow worse, I think. [01:48:07] Speaker A: Yes. But we will need to strike a bargain, they say. [01:48:17] Speaker C: Okay. [01:48:19] Speaker A: Power doesn't come cheap. [01:48:22] Speaker C: Power? [01:48:23] Speaker A: What do you mean? My power goes through you. Or it will when we seal the deal. I bet we all bent the laws just a little bit to make sure that none of you died because you've unleashed something bad. [01:48:42] Speaker C: Okay. What do I guess for the bargain? What do you get? [01:48:48] Speaker A: Hugh, I may have things to ask of you. Small favors, nothing too much. But main thing is, you get to the bottom of this. This. Whatever is causing these things to happen. You get to the bottom of this, figure out what is going on, what has torn a rift in the world. [01:49:12] Speaker C: Okay? I mean, you did just you. You saved me. Well, more importantly, yeah. You saved Marzipan. [01:49:20] Speaker A: Yes, Marzipan is perfectly fine. [01:49:22] Speaker C: You saved marzipan. You saved Casper. [01:49:25] Speaker A: Well, I didn't. They have someone else looking out for them. [01:49:29] Speaker C: Oh, okay. That's also concerning. [01:49:31] Speaker A: Yes. It was not a coincidence that you were all there when you were. Someone's been working at this for a while. [01:49:40] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. Okay. I I. Yeah, sure. Yeah. Um, you know, I'm not used to making deals with giant plant ladies, but I'll do it. [01:49:52] Speaker A: She's only, like, two inches taller than you. [01:49:55] Speaker C: Giant plant ladies. [01:50:00] Speaker A: And you will watch as. And she will, from her hand, materialize a rose. There's a beautiful pink rose. [01:50:13] Speaker C: Okay. Guillermo shakily reaches out and takes it. [01:50:21] Speaker A: And as you do, you prick your finger on it, and you watch as she. There's a little bead of blood. This is the only blood that, with a finger, she swipes it, and it just sort of disappears. And it's like, that is all I need. I am thou. Thou art I. [01:50:42] Speaker C: Okay. [01:50:44] Speaker A: You will find some things may be different when you return. Just. I may not, you may not always be able to talk to me, but I am always there. [01:50:54] Speaker C: Okay, that's gonna be very weird, but, yes. [01:50:59] Speaker A: I will see you later, my little flower. [01:51:02] Speaker C: I don't like that. [01:51:05] Speaker A: And everything fades away to blackness. And let's go to tanith. You wake up in a room full of mirrors. [01:51:19] Speaker E: Okay? Am I in them? [01:51:22] Speaker A: If when you, uh, stand up and look at yourself, in the mirror. Mm hmm. No, you are not in them. Instead staring back at you as a woman. She is just as tall as you are, wearing what you might consider cretan clothes. Not something as, you know, something like a toga, but something along those lines. And as your eyes travel up, you notice the. The sort of yellow of the eyes and then the fact that her hair is snakes. [01:51:59] Speaker E: Oh, that's a weird dream. [01:52:02] Speaker A: And she is mirror. Any movement you make, she mirrors. But then she smiles and just goes, ah, yes. The defender of the unjust. My little vigilante. Look at you. You are so powerful. You barely needed my help. But you are not prepared for what just happened. [01:52:24] Speaker E: And what did happen? [01:52:26] Speaker A: You all unleashed something. Something that people have been trying, always been trying to unleash for a while now. And just all the circumstances lined up properly. [01:52:41] Speaker E: Properly? Or we were aligned into maybe a bit of both. I have to admit, it felt like a trap. [01:52:50] Speaker A: Uh, yes, you couldn't expect this kind, but yes. Yes, it was a trap. In some shape or form. We were all pushed into it. And had we not intervened, you all would have probably perished. You were not prepared for what was in there. [01:53:10] Speaker E: How altruistic of you. [01:53:12] Speaker A: We have our selfishness. We are all tied to you in the form, in a way that none of us really understand. [01:53:19] Speaker E: I'm listening. [01:53:20] Speaker A: Our destinies have been intertwined since. Far as we know, it has been forever. [01:53:25] Speaker E: That's interesting, considering you're a dead myth and I'm from the 21st century. [01:53:31] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, it is. Something happened. Tied us all together. And I can give you my power. And give you my power in exchange for you figuring out what is going on and continue doing what you're doing. Protect those that need it. Fight injustice. [01:53:51] Speaker E: Does your power come with your curse? [01:53:54] Speaker A: Well, you won't have a head of snakes, if that's what you're asking. [01:53:56] Speaker E: Snakes. I don't mind. It's the looking people into stone without being able to shoes. [01:54:03] Speaker A: No. You won't turn everyone into stone, just as you want to. [01:54:08] Speaker E: Well, then you have a deal. If this is real. [01:54:13] Speaker A: Yes. And you'll watch as a hand extends from inside the mirror and will reach out to yours. [01:54:23] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:54:24] Speaker B: Take it. [01:54:24] Speaker E: And give her a firm handshake. [01:54:25] Speaker A: One, two. You will watch as she holds. And one of the snakes comes around and bites her hand. [01:54:35] Speaker E: Ow. [01:54:36] Speaker A: She goes, I. I am thou, and thou art I adds. [01:54:42] Speaker E: God be with thee, so mote it be. [01:54:46] Speaker A: And, yes, you fade to blackness. So let's go to Laurel. You are next. [01:54:54] Speaker F: Oh, yeah. [01:54:55] Speaker D: Oh, yes. [01:54:55] Speaker A: You awaken in what appears to be an elegant dining room. Your knowledge of history, you'd have to place it as. Maybe it's a bavarian castle, maybe it's somewhere in eastern Europe. It's got that kind of style of architecture. A fireplace on the other side of the room has burned low, the embers not really giving a lot of light. [01:55:19] Speaker F: The general disdain and the pain of the romani people. You know how it is. [01:55:23] Speaker A: Yeah, there's a bit of that. Um, and and as you are, you're doing this, you notice a cup in the center of the tape, a. Call it goblets or a chalice, a first goblet. [01:55:38] Speaker F: Is there a note in front of us that just says, in, like, this beautiful, fancy scare drink me? How? [01:55:46] Speaker A: As far as you can tell, Laurel, there is. There's nothing. There's. You seem to be alone in the room for the. [01:55:52] Speaker B: Okay, so despite this being a very aesthetically pleasing room and the fact that Laurel is head to toe, aesthetically dark academia, she's gonna feel very awkward, very weird, and just go. Are there doors? [01:56:13] Speaker A: There is a door at the very end of the very end of the hall. Okay. [01:56:20] Speaker B: Okay. I would like to leave. [01:56:25] Speaker A: So you you walk towards the door, and as you do, it opens. And a very, very tall woman. Yep. She is dressed in almost completely white, except for the red eyes that's. Well, stare at you. Like, stare at you, maybe, like you're her next to me. [01:56:52] Speaker B: Ma'am. [01:56:53] Speaker A: And she goes, mmm. You're awake. It was such a time to save you from that monster, but you. I had to do it for you. [01:57:08] Speaker B: I say, as I channel Elsa for the entire fucking first half of the frozen movie. Yeah, just pretend that I've never heard of a gay. [01:57:22] Speaker A: Yep. And she just goes, yes, it was a big, big scary monster. And. But don't worry, I have protected you. No harm will befall you tonight. Night. Yes. [01:57:40] Speaker B: Say, I'm gonna go now. [01:57:44] Speaker A: Hmm. Not so fast, little one. Yes. There are strings that come with this deal. Me saving you does not come for free. We all had to bend the rules slightly to make sure that none of you got slaughtered. [01:58:07] Speaker B: What do you. What do you want from me? I don't have much. [01:58:15] Speaker E: Hmm. [01:58:15] Speaker A: I don't want anything physical, uh, from, you know, items. I have more than I could ever need. But please, sit back down, and I will tell you what I mean. [01:58:30] Speaker D: Yes, ma'am. And I. [01:58:32] Speaker B: Just go and sit. [01:58:34] Speaker A: Yes. Be a good year. And as you do, she grabs the goblet that's in the middle of the table. And she starts to. She sort of just moves it in her hands, looking at it, and she just goes, hmm. It is a bit gaudy, but I guess it. She'll do for what needs to be done. And you will watch as her nails grow into points almost like knives. And she cuts her opposite hand, and this sort of viscous, dark, almost black blood fills her hand. And she sort of holds her hand over the cup. Yes. Now, dear, you will be good, and you will drink this. It will give you a bit of my power. More to come later. [01:59:36] Speaker B: This is very unhygienic. [01:59:38] Speaker A: Um, it is a dream, dear. It is no more than a dream. [01:59:42] Speaker B: This is a very weird dream. [01:59:44] Speaker A: Um, not the weirdest you've had, maybe. [01:59:47] Speaker B: Okay, well, kingdom, he will just straight up read you damn well, if you like what you're listening to here, fellas. I believe that we have had our first actual goblet and gig not in our actual channel, but our sister channel. [02:00:11] Speaker F: Drink the blood. [02:00:16] Speaker A: I don't want to. Ecsti will push the goblet towards you. And in the cup, it looks nothing more than wine. [02:00:24] Speaker F: I'm under eight. [02:00:29] Speaker C: That's an idiot. [02:00:29] Speaker A: It's okay. Yes, drink. Drink, dear. And you can even close your eyes and pinch your nose if it helps. But you must. [02:00:42] Speaker D: I really. [02:00:43] Speaker B: I really. I really don't want to. [02:00:46] Speaker A: Though it would disappoint me greatly if you did not. Do you want to disappoint me? [02:00:54] Speaker B: Life is full of disappointment, lady. [02:00:59] Speaker A: Yes. Yes, it is. But do I look like somebody who doesn't get what she wants? I. The cup was Merely, uh. Oh, wait. I thought you might be more comfortable. I can open my hand again if you would like to drink directly from the source. [02:01:16] Speaker D: I'm. [02:01:17] Speaker B: I'm so. Okay, I'll pick up the cup. That it's gonna take ten years, but I eventually drink it. I don't look at her for sure. I just go stare at the fire, you know, the fire. Safe. The fire keeps me so safe. [02:01:37] Speaker A: It doesn't taste like copper or blood or anything like that. It tastes like a very, very fine red wine. [02:01:46] Speaker D: Ma'am, we're 18. [02:01:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:01:48] Speaker B: I have to drink it all. [02:01:50] Speaker A: You have to drink all of it? There's not a lot. There's maybe a mouthful or two. Yeah. [02:01:55] Speaker B: You guys drink all of it. [02:01:56] Speaker A: Yeah. And she comes up behind you. She doesn't touch. She. I don't know. She, you know, simply is just like, there you go. That is a good little thing. And now our deal is done. I am. Now thou art. I. She's like, I will see you again soon. But always remember, I am with you, and you will fade back to blackness, ma'am. And let's go with care. Next. [02:02:30] Speaker F: Oh, boy. [02:02:31] Speaker A: You find yourself. You find yourself waking up in a house. You do notice all of the religious idolatry all around the house. There's a rather couple of rather garish looking crosses. There's a small house. It definitely seems like the people who are here don't have a lot of money, but. [02:02:55] Speaker F: Yeah, this is a dream or a hallucination or some weird fugue state between life and death. It's okay. [02:03:05] Speaker A: There is. On the upper balcony, there's a stairs leading up to a second floor. You do see the woman you saw earlier in the student? She is wearing the same dress, but this time, rather than it being in tatters, it is mostly together. Something red seems to have stained parts of it, but for the most part, it looks like she's washed most of it off. And she just goes, I hate it. I hate all of it. [02:03:39] Speaker F: You and me both. Lady and care just simply walks up the steps. [02:03:44] Speaker A: Mm hmm. [02:03:45] Speaker F: Guess you're not a big fan of the big j. [02:03:48] Speaker A: No. No. To use. To keep people down, tell people they shouldn't do things. [02:03:54] Speaker F: Oh, trust me, I know that. [02:03:57] Speaker A: Yes, you and your friends are very lucky. [02:04:01] Speaker F: I mean, I would assume so. [02:04:02] Speaker A: We were able to. We were able to get to all of you in time. We had to bend some rules, but. [02:04:10] Speaker F: So, two things I'm sure you're going to explain a bit, but two things. One, extra dimensional beings. You and your pals. [02:04:20] Speaker A: I guess you could say that we're at points not exactly sure where we are from initially. Just that we were dragged into this world by something. And something has tied all of us to you. To you and each one of those other people. [02:04:36] Speaker F: Probably related to runes and stuff. I. [02:04:40] Speaker A: Yes, the person in the box. [02:04:41] Speaker F: Yeah. [02:04:42] Speaker A: Yes, that was someone. Appears to have been trying to get this to happen for a while. [02:04:51] Speaker F: And two, what's the catch? [02:04:55] Speaker A: Nothing so garish. Just. We officially make a deal. Agree to look into this, figure out what has caused all of this, maybe shine light on people who use things like religion to keep people down or abuse them. [02:05:15] Speaker F: I know. I said two questions. Have a third. [02:05:17] Speaker A: Ask away. [02:05:19] Speaker F: Why am I not shaking like a long tailed bobcat in a row of rocking chairs? [02:05:23] Speaker A: This is a question that you will have to answer. [02:05:26] Speaker F: Gotcha. Gotcha. [02:05:28] Speaker A: But it's simple. It is a deal. A bargain made. I give you some power. Enough to hopefully help. Yes. [02:05:40] Speaker F: And figure out what's actually gone. Probably, yes. So do I jump from here? Do we shake hands? Is it more symbolic than that? [02:05:48] Speaker A: No jumping. I will need a little bit of blood. And she will hold a shard of. [02:05:56] Speaker F: A mirror, and care is going to prick his finger. [02:06:00] Speaker A: Yes. She will take that blood and sort of. It seems to melt into her. She goes, thou art I, the steel is made, and you fade to black. [02:06:15] Speaker F: Nope. There it goes. [02:06:17] Speaker A: Hey. Help me. [02:06:19] Speaker F: I love how just unbothered. [02:06:24] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, this makes sense. [02:06:27] Speaker D: Yeah. Kieran. Guillermo, we don't have time to unpack. [02:06:32] Speaker A: All of that, but that leaves one more person. Oh, no. Casper, you wake up in a house that looks like it's been destroyed by a party. A very, very raucous party. [02:06:51] Speaker D: Well, there's a mess. I'm panicking. But, I mean, the best thing I can do is start tidying things up for when the people get home. [02:06:59] Speaker A: You know. [02:07:03] Speaker D: Like, I mean, we were in the building. I guess I'm at a party. Look at this mess. Who did this? Picking up cups, putting in the garbage. [02:07:12] Speaker A: As you've bent down to pick up some cups. When you come back up, you come face to face with a man. He seems to be a teenager, like you. His messy, kind of greasy hair, wearing a white shirt and jeans. But you will notice the blood on his shirt and the blood on his hand. And he just goes, it's finally nice to meet you. [02:07:38] Speaker D: Okay, so you're telling me after everything that happened, there's a man covered in blood standing directly? Throw it away. [02:07:47] Speaker A: As you turn around, you find another man behind you. He is taller than you, wearing what was maybe a rather nice cable knit sweater. He also has blood on his hands and blood on his sweater, and he just goes, where do you think you're going? [02:08:06] Speaker D: I'm so sorry. I don't think I'm supposed to be here. This is a party, I guess. Why? There's blood. Did you get hurt? [02:08:15] Speaker A: Yeah. The first man goes, it's not our blood. Ghosty boy. [02:08:21] Speaker D: Is there a button that I can press to just panic? [02:08:26] Speaker B: I feel like my absolute favorite part is that Casper has been surrounded by nothing but, like, basically shirtless menta. [02:08:41] Speaker A: And, you know, he. The first one. The one that's got the greasy hair, he comes and he's standing in front of you, and as you're. As you're doing this, you feel the law. The arms of the other one sort of drape over your shoulders. And. Yeah, his head is very close to yours, and he's like, we've been waiting for you. We've been waiting so long for you. [02:09:09] Speaker D: Casper is shaking like a fucking terrified rabbit. [02:09:13] Speaker A: Just like the one that's got. The one that's got, you know, his arms over your shoulders. He sort of just gently strokes your face. He's like, shh. We're not going to hurt you. We're here to help. [02:09:26] Speaker D: That's not very reassuring. [02:09:29] Speaker A: Oh, Mandy. Eva. The one with the one in front of you just goes, God, I can't believe we're tied to this pushover for eternity. Come on, man. Don't you have a backbone? Aren't you tired of people just stepping over you for your entire life, being just a walking doormat? [02:09:58] Speaker D: Uh, why do you ask this? What do you want from me? What is this? [02:10:05] Speaker A: This is just a very realistic dream. Uh, but we saved you from that thing, the thing in the box that you guys really, really shouldn't have opened. But something really wanted you to open it, and you did. So there's that. And the one over your shoulders just goes, if we hadn't been bound to you, we probably would have enjoyed watching it slaughter all of you. [02:10:36] Speaker D: One wood box, two slaughtered. [02:10:39] Speaker A: Yes, there was a box. [02:10:40] Speaker B: See? [02:10:40] Speaker A: I guess you weren't there for it. There's a thing that some of your friends let loose. It was very angry and wanted blood, not like the blood that we have. And, like, you'll watch as the one in front of you just sort of licks the blood off his fingers and just goes, it's just corn syrup. [02:11:04] Speaker D: Okay. What. Why do you have. Is it, like. Is it like a party thing? Like, this was a Halloween? [02:11:10] Speaker A: Oh, that was a bit of a party. But there were other things. More. More things that don't really aren't important to what's going on right now. [02:11:22] Speaker D: Okay. For a second, it looked like you guys actually killed someone or something like that. [02:11:29] Speaker A: You should say that. And off to the side, you look and just sort of. There's a pair of feet. Sort of like a pair of feet in shoes. Like you, like, sticking out, like, from a corner. [02:11:45] Speaker D: Uh, I'm gonna look at those feet and then back at the guy in front of me looking very terrified, like, did you kill someone? [02:11:55] Speaker A: What does it matter if we killed someone? [02:11:58] Speaker D: Oh, God. Um. This is the weirdest dream that I've had in my life. Please say this is. [02:12:06] Speaker A: Yes, no, maybe. So. [02:12:10] Speaker D: Can I, like, try to shrug. [02:12:12] Speaker A: The guy on my shoulders off as you do his sort of tights around you and is like, hey, we just saved your life. You should be grateful. [02:12:25] Speaker D: I'm sorry, what do you want with. [02:12:28] Speaker A: Me, then it's very, very simple. What we want with you. We need to make a deal because we kind of bent the rules a little bit earlier by saving you and your friends. So if you want our powers and for help further, and to not die when that thing realizes that you're all still alive, you'll accept our help. [02:12:54] Speaker D: Casper having a panic attack. And also an absolute pushover. Like, okay, what do you need me to do? Just whatever you want. [02:13:03] Speaker A: And the one in front of you produces a rather long knife. And he says, hold out your hand. [02:13:11] Speaker D: Um, what's the knife? [02:13:13] Speaker C: Oh, my God. [02:13:14] Speaker F: That's the worst spot. [02:13:17] Speaker D: What's the nice word? [02:13:18] Speaker A: Never you worry. Don't you worry. Everything will be just fine. It's not even gonna hurt. [02:13:24] Speaker D: Uh, is there. Is there a nice little soft. [02:13:27] Speaker A: Unless you feel like making out with both of personal. [02:13:35] Speaker B: Do it. [02:13:36] Speaker D: Do it. [02:13:37] Speaker F: Characterize with a winky. [02:13:40] Speaker D: Is there an option outside of both of those? [02:13:42] Speaker A: No. [02:13:47] Speaker D: I don't know. I feel like. I feel like Casper's just kind of frozen. Like, not holding their hand out, just still, like, gloating, symbol processing everything that's happening. Like, am I gonna get stabbed? Am I gonna get kissed? What is this dream? [02:14:04] Speaker B: He's awakening some new kinks? I say. [02:14:09] Speaker F: College is a time for exploration. Do it. [02:14:13] Speaker A: You heard the people. Yeah. And then. [02:14:19] Speaker B: No, shut up. It's been. It's been fucking prophesied since the beginning of this episode that you were gonna get railed. [02:14:29] Speaker A: My. [02:14:30] Speaker F: Does not condone any sort of sexual violence. [02:14:32] Speaker A: No. And he'll extend his hand, be like, make a decision. [02:14:41] Speaker D: Neither. These are both very, um. I don't want to get stabbed. You know that. I think that's what you're gonna do with that. [02:14:51] Speaker B: Nice. [02:14:52] Speaker D: That's what people typically do with that. [02:14:54] Speaker A: I am just going to need a little bit of blood or. Yeah, a bit more than a few drops. But unless you have somewhere else you'd rather me cut you. [02:15:09] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. [02:15:10] Speaker A: Just back of the hand. Arm. [02:15:15] Speaker D: I just. Can I do it? [02:15:17] Speaker A: He'll flip the knife around, give you the handle, and just be like, be my guest. [02:15:23] Speaker D: Casper will take it very nervously. And just what's the least painful part. [02:15:27] Speaker A: Of your body to cut me? I'm not sure. Hey. [02:15:34] Speaker C: Finger. Well, probably not your finger. Probably your palm. Honestly, like, it's gonna hurt. [02:15:40] Speaker F: Poked his finger. [02:15:43] Speaker E: Actually, your knee has very few nerve endings. [02:15:45] Speaker D: God, I feel like these two. [02:15:50] Speaker A: I gotta cut my knee. [02:15:55] Speaker E: God, I just need blood. [02:15:58] Speaker D: I feel like Castro trying to figure out how to do it, but I think they'd be too scared to cut themselves. I'll be completely honest. Like, I just. [02:16:06] Speaker B: Oh, my God. Can they just stab him already? Like. [02:16:13] Speaker F: Just get. I gotta pick up my kids from the center. Let's wrap it up. [02:16:20] Speaker D: Okay. After, like, a few moments, I think cash, take a deep breath and just kind of cut their palm just a little bit. [02:16:27] Speaker E: Just a little. [02:16:28] Speaker A: Yeah. And I, you know, as you do it, they will both put their hands over yours. If you watch as sort of, the blood disappears and they both, at the same time, say, I am now thou art I. The deal has been struck. And a moment or two later, you fade to darkness. [02:17:00] Speaker D: I think you backass for trouble. [02:17:03] Speaker A: Yep. And then you all awaken. The lights are on. The door is open. And standing, like, you're all laying on the floor in the room. In the room with the candle. The door where the box was is closed. Or see it anymore. But standing over you, there's two people. One, the woman you saw earlier who looks like a professor. And then the person with their head buzzed, wearing the denim jacket. And the denim jacket goes, hey, doctor Yu. They're waking up. And doctor Yu is like, okay. [02:17:50] Speaker F: You're patch, right? I ever heard. [02:17:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Um, patch. Uh, yay. We. I think I remember passing you, um. Yeah. You guys all right? Um, in one piece. No major wounds. Anything? [02:18:10] Speaker F: Kara will check his arm and then his left. [02:18:13] Speaker A: No, none of you have any wounds or anything. [02:18:17] Speaker C: Is. Is Guillermo's backpack okay and unopened? [02:18:21] Speaker A: Marzipan is fine. Marzipan is meowing and trying to understand what is going on. [02:18:27] Speaker C: Guillermo, like, unzips it and is holding it close and looks at both of them. You're not narcissist. [02:18:31] Speaker A: Doctor Yu just goes, that's not important right now. Don't worry. And Patch just goes, cat moving on. [02:18:41] Speaker C: What the fuck is happening? [02:18:43] Speaker F: Karen will start to sort of slowly get up and start to help people up. [02:18:49] Speaker D: I just had this and probably second worst dream of my life. [02:18:56] Speaker C: Do we wait? Y'all hasn't. Do. We all had dreams? Were you waiting here watching a stream? That's weird. [02:19:03] Speaker A: We. We just got here. Okay. We heard that there was some commotion at the arts building. We were nearby. We came to check it out. You all were passed out on the floor. A minute later or so. You woke up. You. This is gonna sound really fucking weird. Okay. Did you guys talk to people in your dreams? Like, weird people who are, like, old. Not old, but, you know, shouldn't exist? Oh, no, no, no. Technically, yes, but you should definitely hear the dock out. [02:19:44] Speaker F: Kara's gonna put on a smile and go, I don't know. I mean, I guess I just blacked out. [02:19:50] Speaker C: Cool. [02:19:50] Speaker A: Cool. [02:19:51] Speaker F: I don't really remember my dream. [02:19:52] Speaker A: Well. And when she stands up to her full height and just goes, well, yes. My name is doctor Annabeth Yu. I am the professor of parapsychology here. I have been tracking weird, anomalous things over campus for a while. We wondered if this might be it. And she will pull out card and she will hand it to you, care, and just be like, if anything happens, anything weird and you need to talk to someone, call this number, share it with your friends. There is some darkness over Blackwall. And if you need any help with. [02:20:36] Speaker F: Anything, well, I am glad that you and your assistant. [02:20:41] Speaker A: Hey, I'm a ta. Or looking a graduate student. [02:20:45] Speaker C: It has assistant in it. [02:20:47] Speaker F: I'm glad that you and your ta are looking into it, I think. Or back to the dorms. Hey, Casper, do you have the time? [02:21:02] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm gonna check my phone. [02:21:04] Speaker F: Has it been exactly ten minutes since Casper? [02:21:08] Speaker A: It's actually been 45 minutes. [02:21:11] Speaker C: Damn. Security. [02:21:14] Speaker F: Look, I said earlier, all campus police are bastard. [02:21:18] Speaker C: I mean, you were correct. [02:21:21] Speaker D: Okay, I. This is. I'm just gonna lie back down. And I don't care if care helped me up. Lie back down again. Just stare at the ceiling and be. [02:21:31] Speaker A: Like. [02:21:34] Speaker D: You okay, Brita? [02:21:35] Speaker F: My Casper. My roommate's probably braid about. I better, like, get out of here and text him. Thanks for being here, and it was lovely meeting all of you, but I am just gonna go. And you see that care is just sort of smiling through this, that he's just sort of like, his disposition has changed. [02:22:01] Speaker A: What is anybody else been? [02:22:05] Speaker E: I'm just kind of. Whoever looks the most shaken, it's probably Casper. [02:22:14] Speaker A: Me. I'm not gonna make anybody roll over anything. Probably Casper. [02:22:19] Speaker F: Yeah, it is 100% Casper. [02:22:22] Speaker E: Frida, are you okay? [02:22:24] Speaker D: Ah. [02:22:24] Speaker A: That. [02:22:25] Speaker D: That was the worst nightmare I've ever had in my life. I think. Second worst. That was. Oh, God. Just a dream. It was just a dream. Okay. It's. It's okay. I'm okay. Just a dream. Nothing. Nothing of that was real. [02:22:43] Speaker E: It was just. [02:22:44] Speaker D: Apparently dreaming about people with knives is totally normal, I guess. [02:22:51] Speaker E: Not necessarily normal, but, you know, who can control their dreams? [02:22:56] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm not going off thing. And that's. Can I just look at, like, the teacher. The teacher system that was there and just be like, why? But you had something you wanted to say. What was it? [02:23:16] Speaker A: It's really hard to explain. Like, I had an encounter, like, a couple years ago, like, weird things happen on this campus. You'll soon learn. And, like, this person told me, like, how to make a deal with them. [02:23:41] Speaker D: That that's. That's certainly ominous. Did they ask for your blood? [02:23:46] Speaker A: Yeah. Eventually, they'd give it to him. First I wanted a kiss, and that was. I kind of punched him for that. [02:23:55] Speaker D: Oh, God. Okay. [02:23:57] Speaker A: We get along okay. I was more of a test. [02:24:02] Speaker D: Was this, like, a dream? [02:24:03] Speaker A: No. [02:24:03] Speaker D: This is. This. I'm not. I don't want to know the answer to that. I don't think, actually, I'm just gonna. Just gonna sit up, get up, take a deep breath, and be like, I have a lot of work to do. I have to prepare for my job tomorrow. Do a few favors for my roommate. I'm going to go back to go. [02:24:22] Speaker A: Learn how to do crime for my roommate. Yeah. [02:24:27] Speaker E: Yeah, I. [02:24:28] Speaker D: Be nice just to be walked back. [02:24:34] Speaker E: Laurel, do you need walked back? [02:24:37] Speaker B: Um, I mean, I'm pretty sure we're all going in a relative. [02:24:41] Speaker A: You would all be going through the same direction. [02:24:44] Speaker B: Uh, besides that. A woman made me drink her blood. Uh. [02:24:57] Speaker C: Okay. Um. Guillermo's just gonna be like, this is a lot. [02:25:02] Speaker D: Uh, did you also have a dream involving people in blood? Guillermo? [02:25:11] Speaker C: Yeah. Well, it wasn't a lot of blood. There was. Uh. We should just go. That's. Yeah, I I'll go with you to your dorm, Casper. [02:25:23] Speaker D: Okay. We can walk together. [02:25:26] Speaker A: Yeah. So you all leave the old converted church, step back out into the Seattle night. The mist is clear. It seems to be a relatively clear night. The clouds have parted. You can see the full moon and all the stars. [02:25:45] Speaker F: As soon as Kara gets out, because I think he left a bit quicker than everyone else. He takes one look at the outside of the art building, just pulls up the hood of his cardigan. [02:25:58] Speaker A: You will be the first to notice this, but you turn off to your right, you notice a building that wasn't there when you went into the art building. Yeah, it doesn't seem to match the architecture. It seems to be very sanitized, almost like a lap. That's about as much as you can tell from this distance. [02:26:22] Speaker F: Oh, so there's a lab, like, next to this art building. [02:26:26] Speaker A: I drew it on the map. It's not incredibly close, but you're like, there wasn't a building there. And it looks to be. It doesn't match the, like, architecture. It doesn't belong. [02:26:38] Speaker F: Kara's gonna wait for, like, a second to see if anyone else is currently stepping out before he's going to go. [02:26:45] Speaker A: Towards that I will say a moment or two later. Everyone else steps out. [02:26:52] Speaker D: Do we all see this lab? [02:26:53] Speaker A: You will all see this building that. [02:26:57] Speaker F: And you also see Kara immediately walk. [02:26:59] Speaker A: You see this building that none of you remember seeing both. [02:27:03] Speaker C: Is that new? [02:27:06] Speaker D: That. That wasn't there before? I don't think it was. [02:27:09] Speaker C: Okay. It is new. [02:27:11] Speaker D: It's not on the map. [02:27:13] Speaker E: We have not had enough weirdness tonight. [02:27:15] Speaker F: Care cares not listening to any. [02:27:18] Speaker C: Well, God damn it. I guess we should just go. I. [02:27:24] Speaker D: Don'T want. I don't want him to go alone in case there's something injurious there. [02:27:29] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, that's. That's. Yeah. Okay. All right. Are y'all gonna go, or y'all done for the night? Like, looking at is Laura, like, gone. Gone are peace side disappear. [02:27:43] Speaker B: Laura would watch you guys contemplate and see care going off to the building and laurels just like. No. And going home or to the dorm. Laurel's not going to the building. Laurel has to take, like, seven showers. [02:28:00] Speaker C: Valid tannin. [02:28:04] Speaker A: Go towards the building. [02:28:08] Speaker D: Yeah, I think. I think Casper looks very, very stressed and clearly doesn't want to, but they're going to go to the building because. [02:28:16] Speaker B: They got to make sure care's okay. [02:28:18] Speaker E: I thought I'd walk Casper home, so. [02:28:21] Speaker A: I guess I'm going all. [02:28:24] Speaker C: Almost all go to the spooky lab. [02:28:28] Speaker E: I will, like, look back towards Laurel and, like, be clearly torn between, like, walking home responsibilities. Even though Laurel did decline, you can. [02:28:40] Speaker D: Walk her home if you want to. [02:28:42] Speaker B: Well, actually didn't decline. Laurel stated the obvious that we would all be walking towards the same direction, and they would chose to not walk to the same direction, so she's just doing what she said she would do. [02:28:57] Speaker D: It's free real estate. [02:28:58] Speaker E: I just. It's been a weird night. [02:29:02] Speaker C: Don't. [02:29:03] Speaker E: Don't do anything. Don't do anything I would do. And I'm gonna go after Laurel to make sure she gets home okay. [02:29:11] Speaker C: I just met you. [02:29:13] Speaker F: If you all catch up to care, you can kind of hear him muttering something, his breath along the lines of, guide me home. And he will just be in his own world for a second, just muttering to himself. [02:29:29] Speaker A: You approach this building. There are no obvious lights on. There's a door. There's no sign saying what it might be. [02:29:37] Speaker F: Is the door unlocked? [02:29:38] Speaker A: If you push at it, yeah, it's unlocked. [02:29:42] Speaker F: Okay, you have a choice here. Either go in spooky lab. That was where it was before all this, or go back to your dorm. Don't think about this. Don't stress out, Stefan. [02:29:54] Speaker A: And I'll say, like, a moment or two later, uh, Casper and Guillermo show up right behind. [02:30:01] Speaker C: Um, so, you know this is a new whole ass building, right? It's little sus. [02:30:10] Speaker F: We don't know if it's gonna be. [02:30:12] Speaker C: Is that a bad thing? [02:30:15] Speaker F: Kara's just gonna fully turn to the both of you and go, you know, I'm fine. You didn't have to follow me. I know this has been a crazy night, but, you know, you can just go back to your dorms. I'll be fine. And y'all see that smile again? [02:30:33] Speaker D: Are you. Are you sure? [02:30:35] Speaker F: Yeah, I'm fine. [02:30:37] Speaker C: Um, Guillermo's gonna be like, take a second, close his eyes, breathe. Just like, that's bullshit. Um. Look, we just did something fucking. I think I'm gonna say we did something fucking stupid. And now, like, I think whether or not we like it, we kind of have to, like, hang together. And this is also, like, just a fucking. We're going with you. I'm going with you. Sorry. I don't want to speak for you. Casper. I'm going with him. [02:31:10] Speaker D: I wasn't going to let you go on your own into a creepy lab. And I'm sorry, Kara. I'm going for Guillermo, not you. Then I guess I can't leave my friend. But I don't. I'm coming. I'm coming. [02:31:25] Speaker C: You sure? Casper, I like you. You. I. I mean, I. Yeah, you don't. Mmm. [02:31:30] Speaker A: I like. [02:31:31] Speaker C: I want you to be there. I don't. If you're scared, you could go. No. [02:31:35] Speaker D: But I don't want you to go into something like this on your own. [02:31:40] Speaker C: Okay. I guess we're going with you. Care. [02:31:43] Speaker D: Sorry about that. [02:31:44] Speaker A: Care. [02:31:45] Speaker F: No, it's, uh, it's. It's fine. I'm glad I have someone. Okay, creepy lab. Here we go. [02:31:54] Speaker C: Awkward bisexual. [02:31:55] Speaker A: So you walk into what appears to be a reception area. It's rather small. You don't notice any obvious doors. There's a desk. There looks to be a few things on the desk. And then there's a bunch of chairs to just mill about. Like a waiting area. A bit of a waiting area. And there's, like, one of those boards on the walls that, you know, usually would list, like, like, 205 ex lab, but it's completely blank for now. [02:32:24] Speaker D: There's just no people, no doors, nothing. This room isn't. Sorry, Caleb, you go first. [02:32:32] Speaker F: Just a waiting area. And care's just gonna sort of lower his hood. [02:32:37] Speaker D: How big is this waiting area? [02:32:39] Speaker A: Not incredibly big. You know, it's got a desk and a bunch of chairs. It's like your standard, like if you go to like a doctor's office or something that like sort of standard, like waiting area size. It's like maybe as big as a classroom. [02:32:52] Speaker D: No, no, no. This, this isn't right. This building is large and this waiting room is small. And yet there's no doors that lead inside. Nothing that would feasibly be housed in the back area there. This can't just be it, despite the fact that there's no doors. But is there like ventilation system, anything that would lead to another part of the building? [02:33:13] Speaker A: Well, not that you can see. It is dark. There do seem not to be any lights on in here. The only things you see are the desk, which appears to have some things on it. And then all of the chairs. There is one that's to the right of the door when you enter. [02:33:33] Speaker F: Moment of truth. And I try to turn the light, it flickers. [02:33:36] Speaker A: It's very, very dim. But the light slowly turns on. [02:33:41] Speaker D: Can I check out the desk that has stuff on it to see if there's anything interesting? [02:33:46] Speaker A: There is a framed photograph and into, and there's a couple of what look to be business cards, but they all seem to be blank. And then. Yes, then carved into the desk is the same eye symbol that you saw earlier. Drop. Let's see. [02:34:09] Speaker D: Ko, you recognize that eye, correct? [02:34:13] Speaker F: Yep. [02:34:13] Speaker D: It's here too. These cards. Can I, can I like take a business card even though it's blank? [02:34:19] Speaker A: Yeah, it's nice paper, but nothing on it. [02:34:26] Speaker D: No, no doors, but this, it's just something about this is very strange. [02:34:36] Speaker F: Sorry. Please. [02:34:37] Speaker C: Uh, I think like caramel's just gonna like, kind of like look at the lights and just be like, it worked last time. And it's gonna go towards the wall and like look for something. [02:34:50] Speaker D: It didn't work well last time. [02:34:51] Speaker A: I mean, but it works. Give me a giving in like other, give me an investigate role to see if you find anything, any tags. Also, did anybody check out the framed photograph that's on the desk? [02:35:07] Speaker F: I think care is going to. [02:35:09] Speaker A: It shows everyone in the photo is blurry. You can make out shapes, but not faces. And the, uh, you know, there's four people from what you can tell. Uh, and then there's some large object behind them, but there, there's nothing, nothing else. No one, nothing else you can really see in the photo. Just the four blurred figures. And the object appears to be very large. [02:35:38] Speaker F: Look, I'm, I think I'm cool with calling to this part of whatever this place is. I'm Mulligan's Guillermo. [02:35:48] Speaker A: Give me that quick investigate role. [02:35:51] Speaker C: I was going to ask if I need a plus anything, but I rolled two sixes, so. [02:35:58] Speaker A: Yeah, you've got. Because your power tags are. What power tags do you want to add to it? Because the power tags you add to it are the number of questions that you get. [02:36:10] Speaker C: I think I was. I honestly think, gammo, it would be either, I think something to prove, which is something I have from wantos to get my family and maybe again, for Casper, like, can't always trust them, so, like, they're gonna kind of, like, be walking around, like, trusting that Casper's gonna be there and not want to make sure they get hurt or something. [02:36:35] Speaker A: I don't know. So, yes, you get two questions. [02:36:42] Speaker C: Is there any other entrances, doors, any, like, thing to leave besides the door. [02:36:50] Speaker A: We enter this moment? [02:36:54] Speaker C: Um, can I. Can Guillermo figure out what this place is from, like, going around the room and, like, maybe, like, looking around and stuff as well? [02:37:06] Speaker A: You can tell it looks to be some sort of science lab. [02:37:11] Speaker C: Okay. Um, he's just gonna, like, look at both of you and be like, I I don't think there's any way in or. I think the only way out is the way we came in. [02:37:26] Speaker F: Um, you know, this shouldn't. [02:37:29] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, there's. It's. Yeah, yeah, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, you should probably. [02:37:40] Speaker D: No, kara, wait. I have a question. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry to bother, but I know since we're doing a lot of stuff and this is all very strange, and it seems like, I guess we're all tied into it together. Do you want trade phone numbers? I already have guillermos, and I didn't ask for laurels or roses, but maybe we should just to stay in contact with each other. [02:38:01] Speaker A: Great. [02:38:01] Speaker D: Phone numbers. [02:38:02] Speaker C: Maybe that's an idea. [02:38:04] Speaker F: Sure. And once we get back with Laurel and Tanith, maybe we can exchange here. [02:38:12] Speaker C: I can. [02:38:13] Speaker D: Okay. Give me yours, please, if that's okay. Softly takes the phone. Softly puts. [02:38:18] Speaker A: You do that. You head back to your. To your. To your dorms and everything, and we'll have one last scene. It's not going to take that long. So. Because I was like, I want to wrap this up, but, yes, we are going to jump to the official first day of classes that Monday following this Friday, and you all, you will find that you all have the same Monday morning class. It is a 09:00 a.m. english class, specifically on folklore and mythology. [02:38:54] Speaker C: I don't remember signing up for this, but you all. [02:38:57] Speaker A: It was the one english class that you could get into, and so you did. And the teacher's running late. It's been about five minutes. The initial syllabus said a doctor Klaus was the teacher, and her name was Annette. Annette Claus was the teacher. But then five, six minutes in a mandev, he has, you know, messy dark hair. He is freshly shaved, and he's probably in his early thirties and has got that cool professor look, you know, the jeans, button up shirt, and leather jacket. He just goes, I am sorry I am late. They called me in last minute. [02:39:43] Speaker F: He's a professor that the youth can trust because he's. [02:39:49] Speaker A: He goes, yes, I'm sorry I'm late. They called me in last minute. It appears that Doctor Klaus has taken a sabbatical. Family emergence. And he walks up to the front and he's like, my name is Doctor RTM Mund. I will be your new teacher for the semester. And he writes on the blackboard, his name goes, okay, so I didn't really get to read the syllabus, so I'm not exactly sure everything. So why don't we start with Grimm's fairy tales, specifically Red Riding Hood. And then that is where we're going. [02:40:29] Speaker F: Care rolls his eyes. [02:40:31] Speaker A: And that's where we will end episode one. [02:40:38] Speaker D: That was. [02:40:40] Speaker A: But yes, we will do our geek out over the credits. But first, let everybody go around, say who they are, who they played in a favorite moment, because that is part of geeking out over the credits. A favorite moment. And so I'll start. I'm Aubrey. I am your keeper of the Velvet room. Just because I want to be dramatic like that, you keep getting up on my computer desk. He's going for treats that are up on a shelf near. He almost took down my ring light. I'm Aubrey. I am the GM and keeper of the Velvet room, as I call it. And honestly, my favorite moment was just getting to introduce and show off all these characters and set up this world. But yes, we will do reverse order. So we'll start with you, Tick. [02:41:35] Speaker D: Oh, God. Hi, I'm Tick. I play Casper, who now is probably a little bit traumatized. [02:41:43] Speaker A: Casper and your favorite. [02:41:46] Speaker D: Can I be biased and say my casper's awakening because. Jesus Christ. I'm biased because, one, that was really good, Aubrey. Two, oh, my God, this is the start of trauma. But anyways, that's me. [02:42:04] Speaker A: And we'll go with Caleb. [02:42:07] Speaker F: Hello there. My name is Caleb. Widow kind of mentor presents and go. The phoenix. I played Carol Leblanc. And my favorite moment. Oh, gosh, probably. Probably occupying just stab him already. [02:42:26] Speaker D: Just stabbed them already. [02:42:28] Speaker F: And I guess as a general, just. I've never been able to play a genre of savvy, like, sort of like headfirst into danger character, like care, and that's gonna get him in trouble, but yeah. [02:42:43] Speaker A: Ferris. [02:42:45] Speaker D: Hello? Ferris. [02:42:46] Speaker E: Play tennis? I think my favorite moment other than marzipan interjecting herself into every single scene, aka Isaac, I believe. [02:42:58] Speaker A: Yep. [02:42:59] Speaker E: I think it was just. Oh, it was Tannis and Casper's reunion. [02:43:08] Speaker A: And getting. [02:43:11] Speaker E: Unexpected how that turned out, but it was cute. [02:43:15] Speaker A: Dusty. [02:43:18] Speaker C: Yeah, hi, Dusty. I was playing Guillermo. I don't know, I'm just like. A lot of this was very good. Everyone's awakenings was very good as well. I think I kind of just like. I kind of just like, like leaning into Caramel's, like pulling out his phone. Hey, me and my new friend Casper, like, asper, uh, care as we open up this haunted. [02:43:40] Speaker A: Yo, you soup. Watch our death. [02:43:43] Speaker F: Hey, yo, what up? It's your. It's your friend Guillermo. I'm here with my boy care. Hi. [02:43:49] Speaker A: And we're gonna open a strange box this week on unboxing. [02:43:54] Speaker D: Wait, Dusty. Dusty. [02:43:56] Speaker C: Yes. [02:43:57] Speaker A: Dusty. [02:43:58] Speaker D: You were recording that, right? [02:44:00] Speaker C: Yes. [02:44:05] Speaker F: Episode two. [02:44:07] Speaker B: Somebody write this shit down so we don't fucking forget. [02:44:10] Speaker D: I'm doing it right now. [02:44:11] Speaker F: I got it writing me and then. [02:44:16] Speaker A: End it with you, Aki. [02:44:18] Speaker B: Hello, I am Aki. I played Laurel. And so my favorite moment, I guess I was really excited for my awakening just because I myself up. I re hyped myself up on resident evil stuff, but have to actually pick a favorite moment. It's quite literally, um, it's. It's Casper's awakening where it's like, well, unless you want to make out. I'm like, what the fuck? [02:44:54] Speaker A: Hello? [02:44:57] Speaker B: Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't even like, oh, you know, make out with one of us. It was, unless you want to make. [02:45:01] Speaker D: Out with the both of us. [02:45:02] Speaker F: I was like, not these murderers saying queer, right? [02:45:08] Speaker E: They look out for each other. [02:45:11] Speaker B: Yeah. Oh, my God, they were so down for it too. And. And that was just. I don't know. I don't know. That was the only thing I wasn't expecting. I just. I straight up thought they would come in, like Casper in the leg or something and be like, they are, finally, I'm yours. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But no, instead they were like, wanna make her out? [02:45:32] Speaker F: I mean, you want a second off or second off? And when you're like, oh, there's biting involved. Oh, jeez. [02:45:40] Speaker B: Everybody knows a little murder makes the lips soft. [02:45:56] Speaker F: Episode two reveals episode two. Murder makes the lips go soft. [02:46:02] Speaker A: Well, I forgot to say at the beginning, but episode one was called Bad Moon Rising. [02:46:09] Speaker D: And now I know why. [02:46:11] Speaker C: Yeah. Oh, no. Is this all Guillermo's fault? [02:46:17] Speaker F: I will say that it's Kira's fault. [02:46:20] Speaker C: Guillermo is going to say it's his fault, so. [02:46:24] Speaker B: But I want to say it's both asses fault, okay? You both literally went Dora the explore of this fucking ass. [02:46:32] Speaker D: Oh, what's this? [02:46:33] Speaker B: Blow on the candle, everybody. And you did, and then you're like, oh, what's this? A door? Can you click on the box? [02:46:43] Speaker A: Click on the box. [02:46:46] Speaker F: Reveal any aspect of his dream. [02:46:49] Speaker A: Oh, yes. We will see everybody in two weeks. Yay. [02:46:58] Speaker D: Guys. Eat your meat. [02:47:00] Speaker A: That sounds wrong. I don't like it. No. [02:47:08] Speaker C: Brush your teeth. [02:47:13] Speaker E: Nothing good here. Stab your ghost. [02:47:18] Speaker C: Stab your. [02:47:21] Speaker B: Murder makes the lips softer. Why can't that be? [02:47:25] Speaker A: Oh, you know. [02:47:29] Speaker C: Murder makes a lip go soft. [02:47:31] Speaker F: Adam McGarry does not condone any sort of violence perpetrated in the real world. This is a work of fake fiction. Your discretion is advised.
